Ask me again tomorrow night about 10 minutes into qualifying when I've actually done some laps.

Attention all drivers.
The SRou TeamSpeak facility will be unavailable for this race. This is purely so we can see if the addition of TS has any impact on the number of CTDs we've been having recently.
Both the recent car pack and SRou TS were incorperated in to our racing lives at about the same time. We just wish to see if things get any better by not having TS in the equation so sadly this race will be a quieter one. For the full effect of the test it's probably better if everyone refrains, so please consider not using TS even if you use another server. Many Thanks.

Sounds like you've got a rocket ship to me, you'll be lapping everyone with that pace I'm looking doubtful for this race. My upgrade to ADSL2 has gone live this afternoon and the longest connection I've had to the Internet so far has been about 30 mins, usually it's between 5 and 10 mins. And just to make it worse it's refusing to attempt to connect at higher sync speeds that I used to get on the old ADSL Max technology. Fingers crossed it sorts itself out ASAP.

Bugger - same problems tonight as I've been seeing with P&G. When I try and connect, it loads up the same number of drivers in the same order each time before pausing for a moment and then CTD'ing. Tricky to count them, but it was after approx. 15 drivers - tonight it was always when Gazza was loading, but I think that was just down to the order and not Gazza in particular.
I'm stumped - really frustrating. Does GTR2 have a log it dumps errors to all?
Hope you all had a good race anyhow!
Cheers, Ross.

I've had enough of the Gallardo. It's got a stupid dead spot in the engine (which isn't apparent in the physics file), and despite having it's big brother's great balance and excellent traction, unlike the Murcielago it has dire brakes which either don't stop you (hence me chucking it off on lap 1 rather than running into the back of various people) or which allow you to dive inside M3s before suddenly locking up at the rear - despite a big forward bias - and spitting you off. After the second one I gave up, which was a shame because I'd had a great dice with Prof, Picnic and JPS up until then in their fast but slow cars. :'(

Yeah, I noticed that as well, right at the top of it's rev range....I thought it gave the car a bit of character. At least it sounds nicer than the 'old man whistling in your ear' 997.

A CTD in practice and I saw loads of others with the same, so that rules out TeamSpeak as expected. Next is third party track, then addon cars, then skins I guess? Had a good race with Jonzo in parts in that race. I gave him the old Sharkey bum wiggle at one point, proving that I still have some moves left in my old age.
