As there was one other little different between last night's Vanilla race and a normal championship event - the weather file - I have decided that rather than run changeable weather for this event, we will use fixed weather for the full duration of the event. It's a shame to lose the changeable weather but hopefully it's just for this event.

I've fixed the bug which allowed the temperature to vary even with zero changeability so we will see if that helps.

So we get a new skin/car pack for this race or we go with Vanilla?

Cars allowed: any GT1 or GT2 from the UKGTR Physics Pack v2.9.1.0
Unless that first post changes TT I'd think the old skin pack Smiley

I'll be running this one as i dont feel i've raced much recently. Sticking to the 997 as i feel like its unfinished business though did try out the F430 and its surprisingly nice to drive.

I should have asked this before...but does anybody else have problems with the track textures on this track  Huh

The 2nd and last bends in particular are very grainy/bright on my computer which makes it very unpleasant to drive.

there is something to cure that NS, but cant remember what it is. Its one of the nvidia settings if i remember rightly. Shark is probably the man to ask on this i think. But it is curable.

ps ..is tonights race using the last skin pack ie 2.8.9.1 & 2 ?

It will be using the same one we used for the rest of the first half of Season 9, as listed in the announcement...

Yes, the sparkly textures are a known issue.

Another CTD after the second corner. Same place as in practice.
No fun.
Hope the rest of you had.

My setup mysteriously dissapeared and I couldn't quite make the same confidence again. Had to start trying more and punted the poor Lazlow.  Sad  Really sorry, was preparing an exit and was too close. Rookie stuff.  Embarrassed  Waited and made more and more mistakes, had two offs and decided to quit before I make more damage.  Undecided

Had no CTD for a change. Smiley

Hope MJ beats Purdie - he was waaay faster than me when we made some practice laps.  Cool

TT

Sorry again, Lazlow.  oops

Was having a good race and driving near to my limit when I made a awful error....Went to hit the TS button and hit the G25's shifter and stuck it into first while doing about 150mph down the back straight Embarrassed Embarrassed Embarrassed
Blah, was enjoying the race too Sad Joss was just a bit too quick for us in the race. I really needed to be out in front before the pitstops because of the amount of fuel the Lambo requires but I never got close. Good fun while it lasted though. Hope those who finished had a good 'un Cool
