Moderator's Report

Server replay time: 60s

The start was a mess. A tight first corner is never an excuse that incidents might happen.

Dynosaur taps Geoffers who gets send into the side of SBG. This spins SBG arounds and causes havock. This incident was caused by the tap that Dynosaur gave to Geoffers.

Mike Cook takes out both Baracus and PRibeiro, which is what caused the mess at the start. It was too little care approaching T1.
Incidents at the start has to stop so penalties for all incidents.

  • dynosaurpenalty — Rear end shunt — 1 place lost
  • Mike Cookpenalty — Rear end shunt — 2 places lost
  • Mike Cookpenalty — Rear end shunt — 2 places lost

Server replay time: 925s

Legzy is approaching Assassino quickly and tries to overtake on the left, sees there is no room, goes to the right quickly and touches the grass, sending him around into the side of Assa. Assa manages to keep the car going and can continue.
Just a racing incident.

  • Legzy — Racing incident
For advice only - unreported by victim, so penalty disregarded

Server replay time: 1703s

Baracus misses his braking point, collecting Legzy up the rear. Legzy gets sent up the hill and loses 2 places.

  • baracus250gt ([GS]Baracus)penalty — Rear end shunt — 2 places lost
For advice only - unreported by victim, so penalty disregarded

Server replay time: 3494s

Geoffers collects Legzy and sends him off the track. Geoffers waits for Legzy to get going again. Legzy didn't loses any places with this incident, but the opportunity to catch the cars infront.
Penalty gets lowered to 1 place due to the waiting.

  • Geofferspenalty — Rear end shunt — 1 place lost (plus 1 for penalty points)
For advice only - unreported by victim, so penalty disregarded

the 24hr circuit, would doing the Tourist circuit remove the 'dodgy lap counting while pitting' issue, as that version does not include the stadium circuit (where the pits are located)?
I don't know the answer, it's just a thought off the top of my head.  Undecided

I'm quite happy with current settings and I think they strike the right balance. I'm willing to take the flack if it all goes wrong  tank

Never heard a track have its geo-spatials criticised before but you have a point there though Tony. Set your cars up accordingly Wink

Popular opinion has Nordschleife currently as the 3rd most popular track (Disagree? It's not too late to vote folks  Grin).

I already voted and ofcourse didn't vote on Nordscheliefe. As i said before i like to see rally stages,
but don't like to race them.  Grin

Bit controversial this but the lesser known Charade (the original not the newer version) is IMHO a far superior driving challenge than this wimp fest (it says here).

Good few on for practice tonight, good fun chaps  Smiley

Lazlow has very kindly created this video of how to pit legally at this circuit & how not to pit.

If you pit incorrectly, you will register having completed a lap in about 2mins instead of about 11mins which you obviously wouldn't want  Wink

It's tedious.  sleep1
I'm actualy spending my driving time at Westwood which isn't the most exciting circuit I've driven but boy it's like a shot in the arm compared to Snoresgetaliefe

Thank gawd, we hear from a fan Smiley Everyone raved about this track after test race and many are voting it as a fave so there must be a few of you. Thats why we are going there.

Thx for video Lazlow. Pitting is tricky so all take a peep at it as, tis sods law, you'll have to use it.

I'm having a panic attack about the Healey doing 6 laps on a one tank. Can you gents reassure me that it will? Rather embarrassingly I can't finish three laps without a major shunt to test it (I may be Oldie material yet Wink).

A driver of your ability (Undecided) could always use the games feature to multiply fuel usage by x2 (or x3/x4) to be certain. But I shall be on the server this evening & will have a go in the Healey to see what I get & will let you know when you show up later  Smiley

ok... I was pitting the wrong way then... but I am just wondering what the pylons/plastic thingies are for then?

Big fan also of this track although it would probably a lonely race... but we can't miss out on the Mother of all Tracks ??!! (bear with romantic idiots who think Mille Miglia is the best race in the world).
