Moderator's Report

Server replay time: 405s

Wobble (Don1) is looking to pass Wilier into Gancho. Wilier takes the normal line in; Don is nowhere near level on the inside as Wilier turns in, and Don locks up completely, making contact with Wilier's left rear corner and spinning him out.

Like the tight chicanes at Enna, this isn't the place for a half hearted passing attempt.

  • Don (Don1)penalty — contact with Wilier — 2 places lost
For advice only - unreported by victim, so penalty disregarded

Server replay time: 415s

Glide runs wide into the gravel at the Esses and rejoins. PaulW attempts to capitalise by passing Glide round the outside, but Glide's car skips left off the curbs and there is contact, PaulW going off into the gravel.

  • Racing incident

It's not funny how badly I'm driving in GTR after all the laps in rFactor- it's like I'm drunk I'm missing all the braking points and over/under steering in corners! There goes my 5th in the Championship- it was good while it lasted Wink

Oh carp. I just tried Beamer in GTR and am same as you. Can't drive for love nor money. Physics seem totally different now, hope I can get the hang of GTR again.

Is that a compliment or critic for the GTR? Haven't tried rFactor yet so I'm curious.

Hehe, I've not had too much trouble switching back to GTR, apart from the fact that I hate Estoril  Grin

I did find how to get rid of that annoying steering hack that is on in GTR and rFactor.  It's a setting in PLR.  Much better after I reduced the speed at which the steering boost cuts in Smiley

It's neither Matjas- it's just the deeper I get into the subtlies of rFactors cars 'on the edge' the further away I get from GTR's in a similar state. I obviously can't mix driving games so I think I'll stop trying once the NGT sprint season is over!

Funny I didn't have to put in any code once I'd paid for it by credit card. I was also sent the code to my email account straight away.
IMO the open wheel stuff is fab.
