Just had a little look on the server, the Jag Roadster isn't in the choice (looks like its the only car i get on with) 1:17.8 ish with a bit of practice last night with Legzy and Lazlow cheers for hosting Lazlow. Also the C2 Z06 isn't up for choice, just took out the C2 L72 that was on offer and got a 1:14.89 don't think i should be using that one.

Ginsters before I forget, nice one for sorting this out - looks like a fair bit of legwork but probably just the ticket to make PnG more accessible. Seems like a cracking idea to me, not had any practice yet but got Sunday earmarked, at a wedding Sat so it'll be the ideal way to work off that hangover

Question - Looking at peoples lap-times & the groups they're in... Am I right in thinking that we should all be aiming to drive a car that we can lap here in about 1:17? Because if that's the case, I might be a bit quick in the CobraCoupe & move to the next slower car as I think that I'll be easily below that quite soon. OK, did about another ten laps tonight & got the Cobra Coupe down to low 1:16's & I reckon that will turn to 15's with just a few more laps. Am I lapping too fast & should down grade my car choice? (Go on SBG, I want to hear you say "Legzy is too fast" )

Gosh, dont sbg, there will be no living with him! Installed this am. Had a quick spin in the GT350 SCCA is it? 1.17.5 if I'm lucky! Is Legzy right!? Should we all aim for roughly 1.17's ? M.

Do you mean as in GTR2 PD ?...yes it works with P&G also, just install it into your P&G game directory or copy it over from your GTR2 dir. I dont think there is any aim here to get 1:17 laptimes, Legz. Just drive a car that you like best from your allowable grouping. I think i am going to take the Cobra Roadster, love the sound of it and it powers around like a true yank job, all power-no steering ! Is the Cobra coupe quicker than the roadster? I didnt notice any difference when i tried both but i see its in the higher class I think this narrow track is going to be a bit tight with a decent grid and everyone will need to be careful under heavy braking at a couple of corners or there will be mayhem. And remember these cars have proper damage modelling unlike those rubber dodgems you have all got used too

I've started a system as a Dedicated server "PGUkgtlPhpokTest" with the usual password, if anyone fancies some one line and is happy to risk a BT line...

I really fancied joining in for this one (from the back as usual) but was struggling with the set up of both the Daytona and the Cobra - best being in the 1:18's with occasional lap in the high 1:17's, so was not sure if I should try or not -----until that is today. I found a Ginster set up for Valencia and although I have no idea what that track is like thought "what have I got to loose" After a few laps I just adjusted the Diff ratio and found I could consistantly lap in the 1:17's with an occasional drop into the mid 1:16's. So all being well I hope to be with you on Thursday. Finally -- Thanks Ian Laurie
