Basically, because we still had problems with CTDs last night, I want to do a race with the current car pack, but using the GT3 cars, since there are no add-on GT3s. This should help us to understand whether the cars themselves are at fault, or the skins.

Not really sure how this helps us really  Huh If we arent using the new add-on cars nor their skins how does racing GT3's resolve anything in that we havent even used them yet and therefore they have nothing to do with the ctds ?

Disclaimer:- But i am prone to confusion on occasion  Wink

I was hoping for somehting with too much power and awful handling  Tongue

The Viper CC then...

They have skins prepared the same way and to the same standards as the add-on cars but without the add-on nature. Last Tuesday we tried bog standard unskinned cars in a standard class, so this week we're trying standard but skinned cars in a non-standard class. If we don't eliminate the basics we could spend weeks chasing problems in the wrong place.

Dave is just applying a standard engineering method for diagnosing a problem - change 1 thing at a time until the problem stops. Very sensible  Smiley

I believe that my beautiful green and yellow Lotus Elise will be available for tonights race so if I am free, which I think I am, I will be there. Even better looking at the weather forcast predicting rain.

Make sure you download the car pack & GT3 skin pack Linus. Sadly (for you) it's going to be a dry race.
Hope to see you there mate.

I've just noticed while downloading and installing the skins for the GT3 cars, that I have been using version 2.9.0.2 skins for the GT1 & GT2 cars. Could this be effecting the server? Embarrassed

Almost certainly not, as most of the skins haven't changed and I'm 99.9% sure missing skins don't do any harm (other than aesthetically  Wink ).

Run the car and skins installers again to make sure they're both in properly.
