This will be an official, non-championship event. We'll be starting early enough that anyone wishing to see the first IndyCar race of the season live should be able to do so.

The server will be restricted to 20 slots as part of our ongoing investigation into the rash of CTDs. If you have suffered regular CTDs in Season 9, please ensure that you have shadows set to minimum (first first setting above Off) and that Simple Debris Collision is On.

Practice 1:19:00(10 mins)Note: early start time!
Qual 2:19:10(10 mins)
Race:19:20(30 mins)note: no warmup!

Cars allowed: any car from the UKGTR Car Pack v2.9.5.1 (here)
It would be helpful if we could have at least one of every new car
Weather: dry
Track: Enna
Race Start Time: 14:00
Pit Stops: No mandatory stop

Server: UKGTR 2.9.5.1
Password: see above

Notes:
(1) Please make sure you are fully aware of the UKGTR Rules - especially the speed limiter starting procedure and the rules about in-game chat messages.
(2) Championship standings can be found on the series page.
(3) You will not be able to join the server without the skin and ballast pack (see link above).
(4) Drivers may only change car once in the season without penalty.
(5) Drivers are reminded that they must select ISDN as their bandwidth, otherwise the stability of everyone's connection will be reduced.
(6) Please use the Driver Details page to ensure that the league management software has your correct GTR2 'Driving Name' (not necessarily the same as your lobby name).

I'm open to track suggestions...
Any track that we haven't done (or scheduled) this season or in the winter break test season would be appreciated. Just something different please Dave Cool.

Looking at our current track download list, I've not driven at any of the following:
Le Mans
Mont Treblant
Mugello
Nogaro
Sebring
Suzuka

An endurance race at Sebring would be quite topical  Wink

Bathurst, please!!

Why am I the only one that ever seems to rave about this one!?

It is perfect for a super event.

Very very fast down the hill, very tight hill ( street circuit type ) section.
Up and down, adverse camber, Lots of good overtaking opportunities.

Please, please, please!?

Because it's a horrid place where small mistakes turn into massive pileups.

Birmingham Motorplex.  Smiley
Road Atlanta - though it was better in Sportscar GT, it's a bit narrow here.  Undecided
Mugello - we don't use this track enough.
A1 Ring - love it.
Sepang - we never use it.
Dijon Prenois
Zolder.  Smiley

Whatever track, put the starting time at least an hour earlier in the evening.

By convention we aim to finish around the normal time. Smiley

This race may not go ahead, depending on the outcome of tonight's GT3 test race. If necessary we'll do some sort of mass test with the various add on cars.

I've updated the first post above; because of the delay with the skin pack we'll run a short (but official) test race.
