Just a thought....would it help with sorting out car and driver classes a bit quicker if we start posting our lap times in one easy to find place??

We can all edit our own little post as and when we have new times.

Ive made a start with Spa..

Oh and nail it to the top of the Board..

                                                Cheers Ade

Nice idea Ade, i'm looking forward to setting some times in the new 906 & GT40 beasts.  Cool

Might be wise to also specify whether times are set online or offline as experience tends to show it can be worth anything upto 1 sec per lap, and likewise whether it was set in timetrial or offline practise/qual sessions, again for the track grip discrepancy.

Spa

GT-40 Mk 1                 2.47.0    offline  (still horrid)
GT-40 Gulf                  2.38.0    online  (more to come for sure)
906-6                        2.42.0    online  (great fun Smiley)
906-8                        2.39.3    online  (twitchy!)
906-6 longtail              2.42.6    online  (don't try a standard 906 setup - fast corners will kill you!)
914                           2.48.0    online
911 IROC                    2.47.3    online
911 RSR                      2.42.8   online

Would it be worth while contacting the P&G mods as it's highly likely they already have comparitive times for all the cars?
After all they do say this on their site "If you are a League administrator and need help to run your championship with the Power&Glory mod, then please contact us. We support directly all the P&G leagues."

Great idea Tony, so i did just that  Smiley Will wait and see what the response is but you can follow the thread here:-

Ps. Enjoyed driving the magnificent 906's around Spa briefly yesterday. It feels like a proper vintage race car, especially the lairy 906-8 with its raucous engine (crank that sound up!)  Cool If you havent tried it yet, i recommend it.  Smiley

Aris, who is the team leader of the mod, races in MARA. I don't think he knows the times until he tries them - there is such a huge number of car / track combos that it is probably too early to have that info available.

[Edit] I've asked the question anyway, and will report back when he answers.

Fulvio was the guy I knew in MARA who was associated with the P&G project. Didn't know Aris.

Fulvio races in MARA too (I raced against him 10 years ago in gpl). He's a good guy, but Aris is the main man and very quick too - put him in any car at any track and you you are scratching your head wondering how he manages to go that fast  Shocked
