If anyone fancies collecting some from the dedicated server I'd be interested to see what results you get. From what I've seen they look remarkably similar to the GTR ones, which is both useful and annoying. Cheesy Roll Eyes Grin

Yeah I'll send you some from Picnics server Giz.

I'm not at all convinced the exports I've got are the real deal. They are basically the same sort of thing as GTR and I'm sure they are missing laps and so on. I wonder if that is just a throw over and we have to do something extra for this new XML stuff and racecast blah blah blah.

Another plus of rFactor is that each replay gets saved with a different name, e.g. puts 1 or 2 and so on at the end of the name so doesnt overwrite. Appears to only do race sessions agian though.

Apparently there's a setting in the .PLR file to enable replays from all sessions - haven't tried it with the dedi server though.

I suspect that the XML files only work for uploading results to RaceCast. I haven't played with that at all yet but if it's true there may be a way to appropriate them. OTOH if the GTR-style ones are accurate (the vehicle names look suspiciously spartan but otherwise they look pretty much the same) they may be good enough.

Yeah I'll send you some from Picnics server Giz.

Looks like we need to do the .PLR file fiddle to turn on individual session exports. The ones coming out by default appear to be like results.txt from GTR, ie. not much use. Roll Eyes

I'll have a play later but first I need to go buy some new tyres. Cheesy

XML results are available from RaceCast.

If you look at the race results, there's a "Download XML Results" at the bottom.

Oh and apparently this is how to remove the 20 player limit from the server...

In the DedicatedOWChallenge05.ini or DedicatedSRGrandPrix05.ini there is a line that say this...
- LessenRestrictions // allows you to remove the 20-vehicle limit as a multiplayer server at your own risk.

Well that says "not supported" to me. Just hope it allows more than 20 reliably.

Yep, just found it after creating some results from my own dedicated server. Unfortunately they contain very little extra data compared to the text export - most obviously missing is the total race time for each driver. That means we can't get average race speed or show gaps. Even GTR could manage that. Angry
