Started quickly and slipped past Roadrunner when he ran a bit wide. Managed to close right up on TT but there was absolutely no way through. Made a couple of mistakes that ended up letting Roadrunner back though and was again struggling to find a way past until he ran wide at turn 1. Closed the gap to Napo and SBG but was getting left behind on the straights by the mighty Panoz. Decided the only place I could pass was in turn 7 but SBG was defending the inside line so I tried going round the outside and to my amazement it worked! Started to pull away but made a small mistake on the final corner and allowed Napo and SBG to close me down on the main straight before we all fell off in turn 1.  Roll Eyes

You, sirs, are too hard on your tyres! I was running front meds, rear softs. At the end fronts were at 12 and rears at 14.
Exactly the same as me. Wink

Then while Jose and Ginsters battled I was able to close in on them and then I braked too late and took both of them with me. Sorry! Sad
No problem.
I’m not really in a position to criticise other people’s poor driving anyway.  Grin

I had a very close racing front and back for the whole first 30 minutes. Only got a bit of rest after I passed SBG. It was so close from the start I only noticed while watching a replay that Jose and RR switched places early on. I saw the same car behind and assumed it was the same driver. Intense driving is quite straining when you're trying to pass and fend an attack from the back at the same time.  Grin  Great racing boys, all the situations very close and fair, keeping a safe line. This is what those iRacing waterboys don't get    is missing in iRacing    I come back for.  Wink

Wow, that was interesing  Shocked Made the mistake of not changing fronts to meds from softs, so had mental understeer from about lap 5. Dont worry about the tap Mark, i was brakeing earlier & earlier due to the tyres, so was only an accident. Great to be back, see you next week.
