Moderator's Report

Server replay time: 1732s

Matt_Rowe (phspok)has closed in on Craske during the lap and has an outside chance of a pass as they approach turn one. He brakes later than Craske and locks up slightly (replay shows marks) causing him to tap Craske and spin him so he is facing the wrong way on the circuit. Other drivers hit Craske's car which has nowhere to go but without further incident. Matt waits for Craske to re-join.
As Craske has asked for no penalty to be given I shall honour this but caution Matt about being especially careful when following another driver closely.

Hehe, you could say that.  Grin  Though I was more scared of making a mistake than of your wobbly overtake moves.  Tongue   Seriously though, I trusted you not to make a chancy move and it proved right, I had no real trouble keeping the car on track despite minor contacts.  Smiley

Somehow managed 3rd in quili and was just able to hang on to the back of Jon for a couple of laps before he and ginsters disappeared.
Spent the next 35min looking at lazlow in my mirrors. Managed to pull out a small gap by pushing really hard but decided to back off after I almost fell off going round the long left “Triple”.
Lost a lot of tyre temp when I started backing off and almost fell off again on the last lap. Shocked

Thanks to cars being lapped for making it easy and congrats to Jon and ginsters I Am Not Worthy

That was my worst performance for quite a while, i guess thats what happens when i dont do any practise. Went off track twice and only got back to 10th because of other peoples accidents  Undecided  i just totally forgot how to drive this track  Sad

Grats to the podium.

It is possible.

It looks like R247 has got the  team championship with Psuedo and Legends fighting for 2nd and 3rd. Smiley

Well that was a most enjoyable race. Did Qually with my race setup to get a bit more praccy in for the race. My lack of recent driving showed a little with me being a bit ragged. Running off line and making constant small errors but in saying that I think if I drove a perfect race I still wouldn't have got past SBG. He drove a great race and I don't think I even got close to overtaking, any move would've been a divebomb. It looked like SBG's tyres were quite worn at the end of the race but still I couldn't get a real sniff. Was a cracking race though. Grats on the win SBG and well driven to the rest. Cya at the next one

I've never been comfortable around here and the front heavy Aston was always going to be tricky so i was just planning on taking it steady and just get to the finish. I still wasnt happy with the setup, got the backend sorted so i wasnt spinning the tyres everywhere but the front still eluded me. A qually lap only a half sec quicker than normal showed it was going to be tough and i was going to go with softs for the race as i'd struggled with tyre temps but sensibly i changed my mind and stuck meds on but upped the pressures a bit to help.

I knew early on in the race it wouldnt be easy for Blunder to pass me starting behind, and i was just trying to keep it steady and it would be enough. Sadly not. With Blunder running no more than a sec but more like a couple of tenths for the majority of the race i stayed ahead but it as the tyres were going off i was struggling to stop and turn-in and finally i ran a bit wide on to the back straight but clearly Blunder had a much better exit and managed to get along side as the righthander approached and I had to conceed. This though just threw me off my rythm and it took a few laps to calm down while He had scampered away by a few secs.

Then was shocked to find Gazza behind me and with a lap or two to go i was getting excited that i could hold position but sadly i went off again let him through.

Oh well, looking forward to Donny now. Hope the porker handles Oschersleben a bit better Smiley

I was way out of my depth here.

I've always hated this track ever since playing it on TOCA with my little boy, probably because it is so technichal and dependent on setup (not to mention driving talent). I haven't been simracing long, but I felt like the complete noob here, spending most of my time trying to keep out of the way. I even thought about hitting esc at one point to end the misery and avoid causing any incidents but decided to plough on.

I've decided to sit out the next few races and get some serious practice in and see how competitive I can be for Donington.
