Hard front soft rear?!  Undecided

I would say the opposite would be better for Monza. I tend to run med-med most places. The hard fronts might be contributing to your locking up as the fronts will always be stone cold and thus have less grip and give you awful understeer.

If it's a confidence thing, maybe you should try the Lambo (has a lovely balance, if a little slower overall) or even use a GT2. The 550 is the fastest car in the game, but also not the easiest to drive quickly.

Thanks for all the advice.
Actually hard front, soft rear was the only combination where I was getting equal tire wear all around. For example medium all around was resulting in almost all the way worn out fronts by the pitstop at around 45 minutes, while rear tires were at maybe 70%. We'll see how it will be after I try to adjust my braking and brake bias.

F430 does use fronts more, though in your case it seems a bit extreme - you have to set it so that it understeers less.  Smiley  I find I do it more and more and it's also more of a pleasure to drive. Porker seems more forgiving in this case, as fezza will spit you off the track in no time.  Cheesy

Yikes, I had a tough first UKGTR innings with multiple lost connections during Qually and then in Race.

I just wanted to get myself in and sorted for this race and keep out of trouble but it seems that my connection is not enough at 3Mb on average?

All my connection and network settings are ok but we will see what happens at the next race.

Don't hit the panic button about your connection just yet. Some of us do semi-regularly suffer dropped connections during Qually. It's a bit of a bummer but is normally fine for the race.
FYI, if you turn out to be one of the people that suffer this Qually connection dropouts, I don't think anyone has been dropped while in the pits (So set a PB ASAP & then sit sweating in the pits hoping nobody beats your time  Wink)

That's three times what mine is! Angry laugh

I watched you for a while during practice and qually and there was the odd long freeze, as if something else was using your network (eg. virus scanner doing updates, email being retrieved, that sort of stuff). It's not wireless I assume? There was another car doing the same, can't remember who now.

Gazza49er had a sort of network stutter.

Hmm, thanks guys and good tip for quall Legzy! Unfortunatly I lost connection in the race too..

I don't run wireless and was getting a big lock up before each lost connction so mabey Gizmo is right and its third party software up to something in the background. Either that or my pc is getting on a bit and cant keep up with 20+ players when track is busy.

Will make sure that everything is locked down on my system and see how it pans out.

Thanks
