Moderator's Report

Server replay time: 344s

Matt Rowe goes very deep into the hairpin towards the end of the lap. Spanner takes a narrower line but is not really near the apex and is a bit wide as he accelerates out. Matt has stayed wide and thinking Spanner is through accelerates but just catches the back of Spanner's car.
I am ruling this as a racing incident as Matt kept his very wide line and had reason to expect he had left plenty of room for Spanner. He would have seen Spanner very (too) late making contact inevitable.
Having made contact however, Matt should probably have waited for Spanner as is the frequent etiquette used between UKGTR drivers.

Nice race. Grin

Was following TT for pretty much the entire race but, I could not get close until the last lap.

Got overtaken by Lazlow and Jose in the opening stages. Nice little fights there guys. Smiley

Last lap was so funny for me. Just as I was getting really close to TT and trying my best to make a move, we approached the 1st corner of the last lap and Busi came flying out of the pit and was straight on the case getting passed me. I was really trying not to laugh too much as it was effecting my racing. Great last lap or 2. I was really going for it. A bit too much perhaps. Smiley

Well done podiums.

Qualed a good (for me) 10th, went ridiculously wide in the hairpin at the end if lap 1, stayed on track, but Spanner slipped through
except I assumed he was well past, and he was not, I could have given a foot more room, and should have, sorry for the tap
he was chasing me down in the last few laps like a man possesed, but did not quite make it. other than that mishap
was an enjoyable race chasing legzy (ALLLLLLL Grin over the road!) and MJ who was a bit "unsteady"  as well

I loved every bit of that race Grin except for the cutting system that once again kicks me somewhere I don't like lol

A slightest possible short cut at the chicane and two cut warnings at Mc Lean's - where it is not even possible to try and gain time by cutting! Sad

Anyway, I started 2nd behind Jon and I lived with his ass for more than 15 laps Cheesy I was applying hard pressure, I had some better runs out of the chicane and was about to make the move into the hairpin. But the only time I went for it I braked just a bit too late and he took the lead back. Great racing mate enjoyed that big time Smiley

Then the mentioned stop&go which I served with 2 laps to go and rejoined side by side with H@L laugh he was wide at that moment in T1 and I could take the inside. TT was just ahead and those were 2 very funny laps! Cheesy managed to pass him on the outside of T1 in the last lap. Took 4th... should've been 2nd for sure Sad

But the championship is mine! Tongue Another great season once again, thanks everyone Smiley

1111 points, nice Grin

Qually went well for me, I was expecting Jeff to be No.1 as he went faster in the practice before the race. It was a corker of a race for 80% the time. Busi was up my rear all the way. He seemed a bit faster and a little more steady than me which made for a great battle. I just tried to make sure that I got out of the bends well so he couldn't get a run on me at the next corner and it worked. The only time he got past was at the hairpin but he just braked a little too late and went very deep into the corner allowing me past again. This is a hard track to get past on though and it played into my hands. Well done all. Grats on the Champ Busi and to TT and H@L on 2nd and 3rd. Thanks also to the Contributors, Mods and the guys running the show for giving us these great races Cool

For once I had a working setup - left over from the test races - and it really showed. Much better qualifying performance than normal, and whilst the car didn't feel brilliant, once into the race I was able to settle down into a nice smooth rhythm, pulling away from JPS behind. After Spanner and Matt came to grief there was a stable gap of 10 seconds whilst Jorgen's Aston hunted me down from behind.

I had to push harder and harder to keep him behind but it was working, and after half distance he dropped back a little, and I started to close the gap on Picnic and Jose ahead fairly rapidly. With two laps to go I was firmly on their tails, and on the last lap Jose suddenly pulled over - fuel? - and I chased Pete to the line, hoping he would run out of gas, but I was 100ml out of luck. Cheesy

Great way to end the season and Aston beat Chevrolet for 4th place in the manufacturers on events entered. Grin

Q6, R5. Made a pass on Jose after his mistake and was able to make a small gap due to the battle behind. Then H@l started to catch me and I think Busi saved me, disturbing H@l's pace. Tried to Hold Busi after his rejoin, but this is not Valencia. Then again, nothing was to be gained by holding him back, so... Undecided  Grats on the Championship title, X!  Cool  And H@l for . Grats to aliens in front, your pace is a bit too much for me. Gets one into real li(ght)fe perspective.  Tongue

Nice Championship nonetheless, was never any closer to GT1 title and I guess never will be again. I must say I was thrilled by Ford GT from the beginining, but then it faded a bit. Must try another car in the next season, though my focus will shift to lower classes. Much more pleasant to drive, imo, than these brutal beasts. Except for Marcos, of course. Might take it for a spin in U10, just for the thrill of it.  Cheesy

Well done staff and modders.  Smiley

Congrats Top three (TT for Legends Cool )

Great circuit Cool which made for a great race, had some good battles along the way Legzy and Spanner. Had some brake temp issues combined with heavy front tyre wear towards the end resulting in making slight contact with Spanner and Jeff under braking (whilst Jeff was lapping me)..sorry again guys.

DG you was just too quick out there last night and simply just drove away from me in the Aston ninja
