Looks like I might have to miss this, as I'm having trouble with my throttle pedal again. A shame, as I like Estoril. Sad

I do hope to race tomorrow. After all it’s my home track  Wink

However I didn’t run GTR again since last Wednesday race at Oschers has I’m currently building a new PC system, however too lazy to do it as fast as I should  Embarrassed

My older brother PC finally went dead and so he is keeping my previous system (PIV 3.4, 2GB Ram, 80 GB HD, Sapphire X800 XT PE, SB Audigy 2 ZS, DVD Writer, 480W PS, Asus P4P800) and I bought a new one for my self  Grin (AMD 3800+, Asus A8n-SLI, 2GB Ram, 160 GB HD, XFX 7800 GTX Extreme, SB Audigy 2 ZS, DVD Writer, 470W PS)
So, to add to the rest, I’m now using a Thermaltake Shark and must install WXP Pro, all my photo software, setup network connection, install all the other software – printer, Track IR, Momo Force, Audigy, X52 Saitek and the rest of stuff – plus GTR, RBR and Lomac FC.

I don’t think I’ll have the new machine running for tomorrow (I’m terribly lazy indeed at night Smiley ), but has I still have the other PC with me – still have to make copy of several word, excel, photos and other stuff as well – I’ll probably use it to race.

Now, I do hope to have a better performance then last week race, as worst then that is quite difficult Roll Eyes

Guys
I am going to give tomorrow night a miss.  I have had a bit practice and I just can't get a lap in.  I don't mean I can't do a fast lap (which I can't) I mean I have only managed about 2 laps in total with out running off the road somewhere.
Hopefully this will allow enough time for one of the reserve drivers to get a run.
I will be back Monza next week though, so look out all those who, like me, enjoy qualifying in the 2nd half of the grid Cheesy

Well what a horrid race for me, really dont enjoy that track.
Qualed in 8th and finished 5th, which on the face of it sounds good.  However I just cant get it together at Estoril so every lap seems to be a struggle to stay on.
Oh well bring on monza.

Qualified ok and was leading till i spun midway through race, splitter and tyre gone  Sad Seemed to be beached for a while but got going in the end. Think that just about wraps up GT sprint championship with Shark and Mark not racing  Wink Grats to Blaz on the victory, Looks like double Sloveni(j)a victory with a 2-1 in the football also.

I know what you mean Greg, I've done both the NGT & GT there now and just can't get any rhythm at all here. Ended up blowing the engine through downshifting to quick to try and push a little harder

Tonights poor turnout really put a dampener on things for me.

After some good praccy I was getting to like, perhaps dislike less is more accurate, estoril and was really looking forward to race. Pretty good quali for me, happy to see it put me a few places in front of greg, my main rival, in third spot if someway of Jons awesome pace. As per usual had blaz breathing down my neck pretty quickly in race and enjoyed trying to hold him off. But he eventually got past, congrats on fine win m8, and I began to settle for my fourth. Got promoted to third when jon span (mixed feelings here, gutted for John but joy because I thought England had equalised and caused his mistake) and nearly picked up second but I think louis might have been toying with me Wink. A podium would normally have me buzzing but tonight it had a real hollow ring to it.

Still it does mean Monza is going to determine my final standing. And it might have been worse, I could have gone to pub to watch footy instead.
