Had a problem with Jeffrey's car at end of Q. When I came back to garage (with pole I hasten to add!) his name was flickering so I quit out and came back in but it did it again. I had a a few seconds only so I clicked to race and thankfully it did put me on the grid. Maybe I didn;t see JR's car all race but there was no sign of him.

I had an awesome race!!!!!!!!

Hang on, I didn't Wink. I left when I saw you had my name reloading Tongue.

Tough track, tough race... but fun!

First off all thanks to Jimmer for selecting this race. haven't paid much attention to Mondello but after a while it turns out to be quite a challenging track  thumbup1

First bends were ok but I squeezed the Korny Abarth I think.. so apologies if I didn't gave you enough room.
Then a great fight began with mister Blunder in front of me and Ade furiously trying to pass me (only horsepower saved me!)
Lasted quite some laps until I ran out of talent. Very annoyed with myself for that tap... Hit with a wet fish can't apologies enough but hope you like the battle as much as I did!

Great drives from my teammate in the Pantera (u were flying!) and Ligel in the Beemer.

Did I forgot anything? Probably, but it was action all 30+ laps!!

Great show and will join Sandor at the back of the grid again next race (where we belong  Wink )

No worries, my bad. I picked the Abarth as it was selectable and it was in the announcement. I had to install it, as I joined earlier and that gave me problems.

Flight school is good, but not over, still have 2,5 months to go and I'm just on a 4 day holiday Wink.

JOlly good race.
Was lonely in the Merc all on me own. saw people pitting around half distance, could not remember seeing
a mandatory pit, but thought I must have missed it, had enough fuel, thouh rears were getting a bit
slidey, so pitted quite without reason as it seems... came out in 8th just behind Alex, and proceeded
to hound him at every corner, was wrong sighted for a brakin  zone once and went down the fence
caught him up with Ligel trying to unlap himself, followed the Legzy and Oily Drifters club for
a few corners, then snuck underneath, had some really good door handle stuff with Alex
3 or 4 corners side by side, ace driving! so, yes you did forget some stuff :-0

That was a fantastic race throughout and enjoyed some great battling drives with Ade, Alex and a couple of others who's names escape me at the moment  thumbup2 thumbup2

At around half distance my tyres seemed to be going-off so I pitted to change them.  The stop went quite well until I forgot to turn on the Limiter and immediately picked up a 'stop n go' penalty.  That along with a couple of driver errors probably cost me a  position or two - still I was pleased to finish 10th particularly as it was my first race as a member of Team Shark.  So two legends were transferred today Me and Ronaldo    lol lol lol lol

Congratulations to PR, Geoffers and Mike on their podium finish and I raise my hat to everyone else for making it such a great night.

And the organisers - Thanks a million,  I Am Not Worthy  I just can't wait to see what combination you come up with next.  clap In the preamble you asked we make track suggestions so here's mine - 2006 Charade its well worth checking out (if you haven't already do so).

But it pails in comparison to the original unfortunately (IMO). But if anyone has track or track/car combo's that you think are worth considering please pm both Legzy and I.

Not one of my most enjoyable races by any stretch of the imagination (despite Oily's efforts to make it so, cheers mate, because of you it did have its moments Grin). But I'm pleased we seemed to get through that without any concerns over the skins. Thanks to everyone who raced & helped us do the test.

Roll on the proper season, with both P&G s1 & GTL s8 both starting next week  punk

Baracus, we have four new mod cars this season of which the '131 Abarth' that Jeff was in is one. Though none were required last night, it's probably a good idea to get them installed ready.
Jeff, sorry I was not clearer in the announcement about which abarth was available for last night. A rookie mistake on my part & lesson learnt. I just didn't spot you were in it till the very last minute (when I mentioned it in the chat to you), but by then the qually clock was already at 0:00 & there was no chance you'd have been able to get out & back on the server again  Sad. When ever we have any GTC76 cars selectable, the 131 Abarth will be in the list of choices available, though it might not be one of our race options. Once again, sorry you missed out, it was good to see you'd joined us.

Don't disagree Tony but the only game I have raced the full circuit in was GPL and then there are two versions to choose from.  Is the full circuit available for GTL or PnG?

Even drove 2nd for a few laps but was unsure if we had to pit this race. As I saw so may people hitting the pit decided to make one too........ Grin

Same here, I saw so many people pitting that I thought I must have missed a bit in the announcement that said we had to make a pitstop, so I made one just to be on the safe side! And I made a real mess of it Roll Eyes. Due to the light from my monitor I couldn't see the keyboard to engage the limiter so drove very slowly in 1st gear in & out of the pits. Got too close to the pit man & had to shunt backwards & forwards to get the board to come up. Then due to the light problem I kept messing up what I wanted done on the board, so the stop took nearly a minute longer than it should have done. AND I DIDN'T NEED TO DO IT ANYWAY  laugh laugh laugh

But anyway it was an enjoyable if generally lonely race to 2nd. Congrats to PR & Mike thumbup1

Finally, sorry to Ligel for bumping you into a spin at about half distance when lapping you  Roll Eyes

Looking forward to the new season, cya all next week.

I've only used the GTL version. It's not the prettiest looking track but it has all the variety you would ever want. Get it here http://www.nogripracing.com/details.php?filenr=882. I've done several offline psuedo 24hr events here with the daylight acceleration set to 10x and it's a treat (especialy the night racing)
