I fancy some praccy, so will be on the server from 8:45pm if anyone wants to join in?

p.s. For anyone that was having problems connecting to the server for the last race, have you seen there is a new fix suggestion?

Spent a while on line - trust the Tyre wear: 2x was set, if not I'm in for fun and lots of tyres during 45 laps if I survive that long.  sweatdrop eek

Yes, I can confirm the tyre wear is already set at "2x" on the server  Wink

Thanks to those guys on last night, I had an absolute blast swapping places while nice and sideways in the Cuda - what a track! Had forgotten how good this place is. Ade stuck too many quality moves on me to mention and Legzy was like a man possessed in that beautiful Vette (shame about the paint!).

Doing mid 2:06's in the Cuda - absolutely love the thing, the discrete styling, the sound, the handling, it's just brilliant - despite the odd imperfection like taking corners.

Anyway, I figure those chunky rear tyres must weigh a bit so my strategy is to wear them down until I'm about the same weight as an Elan....at which point, I'll unleash the horses and you'll all be feeling my wrath. If that doesn't happen I'll just settle for looking cooler than yow at the back there Wink.

Hope you can make it Madd, that was quite a pace you were running!

Tried several ways (a huge thank you to my team mates for the help and time spent with me)
to connect to SROU server, unfortunatly without success.
Seems that while a permanent fix doesn't come out, I will miss all GTL races.  death
Nevertheless, I wish you all lots of fun (specially to Prodigy Team)  yes

Cheers

PR, just a thought... are there any Portuguese GTL forums? They will be having the same problems as us & may have a fix themselves that you might be able to use to race with us? Undecided

Hi Legzy,
I was at the three more important Portuguese sim racing sites trying to find out anything about that.
It is weird, but they just left GTL races after this second online connection issue.
And they haven't any guide and discussion about it. Odd.

That's a shame. What about any other GTL servers, can you connect to them? Maybe the GamersCrib ones as a suggestion (I think that's where our fix came from). Also, do you have another PC you can install GTL on as a test & then try to connect to our servers from that?
After that, I'm probably out of ideas Sad

Having had a read around, if you've installed GTL to a non standard folder or to somewhere other than C: might not help, even though i cant see why!

I've tried a few other servers and I can see the gamers-crib GTL server. Doesnt help for us though. I need to re-read the text files in the GTL folder as i know it did talk about connecting to a remote server and that the lobby would do everything automatically, but if not then....

My GTL is in D:\GTL1 and not C:\Program Files\GT Legends which is the 'standard'. Other than mentally translating C:\GTL (as it appears in most READMEs etc) to my actual location I've never had any reason to suspect any problem.

1 Yes, "D:" is for Driving. Cheesy

I have a C: drive (80 G) which is used for boot only (then I have 30 seconds to choice which drive C: or D:
runs.

I have all my stuff at D: drive (350 G) and my GTL is installed at: D:\GTL as my GTR2 and my P&G
all the other games I have them at D:\Programs\...........

I have tried other servers IP (GamersCrib and RaceDepartment) without success either.

While I can't think of a reason for it not to work with "D:\GTL", I agree with Spanner that it would be worth installing it at the default location.

So boot to the C: drive & install it there mate. I do hope it works for you.

Would be nice to know which method people have connected by. Thinking of trying the antideco patch again.
