Err... that really was easy. Downloaded the file, unzipped it, double-clicked it, ran GTL like we never had a problem & I'm in. Easy. Get the download here if you haven't already: http://www.filefront.com/14042699/FixGTL.rar//

Working just fine for me. Game crashed when I got to the track, but I think that's due to me syncing my iPod in the background.
And apologies for yesterday folks. Had a really bad day and losing one of the highlights of my week did not sit well.
Here's hoping we can race tomorrow!

Legz/Tony,
Any thoughts on recommending using headlights during qualy to indicate when you're on a hot lap rather than an outlap?
Cheers, Ross.

I'm all for it Ross, but bear in mind the Mclaren doesn't have any headlights. Well, none that I can spot anyway .

I just check with the XD times and if anyone coming up behind at a good old lick and are showing green in the XD i let them past even if I'm on a fast lap (no point holding folk up who are obviously faster than yourself).

Quick check - is this race really going to be 40 laps - even at a 2m30s pace, that's 100 mins!

How disapointing, was right behind Madd (2 seconds, planning spare my tires to attack him later) when I had the 6th disconnection of the evening. I hope you had fun guys. Cheers

That really Sucks Pribeiro, I was looking forward to a good scrap too knowing how quick you are in that car, after you left it was quite lonely and just a case of keeping my concentration going by putting in fast laps. Car was a dream to drive and I quite enjoyed seeing some of the scraps that were going on, hopefully I didn't interfere with any. Lapping people was also no problem as all were courteous, I even held off passing in the stadium or any chicanes and waited until the straights so as not to compromise anyone's speed. A little lonely but useful points all the same. Grats to 2nd and 3rd also. Matt

That was fun while it lasted. Thought I'd take the Mclaren again thinking that fuel would be x2, then find out on teamspeak the race was set up for tyre wear x2 I hadn't practiced in another car so I stuck it out in the Mclaren. Then to top things off a couple friends decided to gatecrash my house about 5 mins before quali. One had a go at qualifying so apologies if there was any shoddy driving! Found myself in plum last at the end of it all. The start went away, made a good one, but punted Goldtop I think it was at the first corner so apologies for that. I waited for him to rejoin and continued at the back of the grid. The Mclaren was a joy to drive, despite the immense tyre wear and was up to 6th by the 13th lap. Eventually I fell foul of my tyres and crashed into the wall at the first bend. Normally I'd continue, but I felt I wasn't being a good host so retired. Roll on Adelaide .
