Lazlow is in the lead and is lapping drivers. As he approaches Matt_Rowe he is expecting to be given the opportunity for a clean pass. However Matt is also being followed by API in a identical blue car. As Matt doesn't give way to Lazlow for some time Lazlow resorts to flashing his headlights, several times to alert Matt. Matt fails to respond to this. A bit later Lazlow can pass as Matt spins off course.
Although Matt never actually obstructed Lazlow or held him up, he should off realised perhaps that the flashing of headlamps probably meant something.

  • phspok (Matt_Rowe)advice — Be mindfull that flashed headlamps usually mean something

I think there are some problems in the pits that need solving . There seems to be no room between the pit guy and the box wall. Not the perfect place to make a pitstop, otherwise a fun track!

Decent race for the 1st half anyway. Think that the second half was not as good because the smaller field was so spread out Undecided

Couple of decent scraps trying to fend off a coupe of drivers for a couple of laps here & there, having made a good start before drifting back down the order some.

Well done to Lazlow on another Team Oldie win Wink
But a special well done to Minton & Ade, both normally front runners who selected 'less competitive' cars, well done guys euro. Well done to the other non-tina/alfa drivers too!

Looks like we've got two trips across the Atlantic next week, might need to book a hotel  Wink
But there were only two Lotus Cortinas in the race?

Yeah I agree. It seemed to be harder to pit the nearer you were to the pit entrance. Yet whenever I had tested the pit stop worked a treat?

If I'd known that before the race, I'd have happily jumped in the Tina. With the Tina being the Alfa's closest rival (unless you can drive the Falcon), it wouldn't have made a difference to me really. With the virus problems I'm having & having to swap PC's just before the race (hence my late entry), I had to create a setup from scratch anyway Smiley

Hence me having to reverse after crossing the pit entry line to get the pit crew to turn up. Roll Eyes My pit box was actually before the pit lane started.

Ok, looks like I need to apologies for choosing this circuit for an Enduro event, but it did seem so perfect for the TC65 class. If we ever race here again we will keep to sprint distance.

My best result for some time  w00t

Somehow blitzed my PB to get pole & got silly ideas that I might be able to win this  Roll Eyes. Lazlow beat me off the line & I got a bit of a nudge from Oily at T1, we were level into T2 with Oily just nosing ahead through the corner, I tried to hold a tight line but just nudged him into a spin on the exit. I considered it a bit 50/50 at the time & carried on but later when Oily caught me I got a guilt pang & let him past.

Most of the race was a lonely affair although there always was either Lazlow & Dan, early in the race, & Oily later, to chase. PR was gaining towards the end but I had 4s in hand at the finish.

Congrats to Lazlow & Oily clap
