Moderator's Report

Server replay time: 63s

In a night race, Minton loses control of his car at the start and spins, ending up facing the wrong way. As LigelC and Racepace approach Minton attempts a controlled spin but in the process of this execution he collides with LigelC and Racepace causing them both to have spins.

Server replay time: 134s

Sandor is following Legzy through the twisty mountain section. As they clear the final right hander they see Geoffers upturned car sliding left to right across the track. Legzy reacts by moving to the left to miss Geoffers wreck but Sandor is also taking this route so Legzy and Sandor collide. Sandor is able to continue but the impact sends Legzy into Geoffers. Legzy then is upturned but is able to continue after a while.
I would have to put this down to a racing incident as I see no blame can be shouldered by any of the drivers involved.

Had a few laps online last night in the lightweight CSL. Laptimes just uder 1.30s. I've also had a couple of laps offline in the dark and it's not as scary as I thought it would be, so don't be put off Smiley

Hope to be on the server later tonight if I'm not too beat after Portamao.

1) [/b] Stick this file in your "C:\GTL" folder. http://www.humyo.com/F/9349539-1469477767
2) Fire up GTL as normal, then go to multiplayer.
3) Connect to IP (not lobby)
4) Add the IP to connect to (81.19.209.165).
4a) Log in (this looks like when you log into the lobby, it's suggested you use a password that you don't use elsewhere)
5) Click on the server & you're in (after a brief wait) Cheesy

With that fix, there is no need to touch your host file (unless you've already changed it, then you would need to remove the GTL changes you did).

p.s. cheers for your effort on this Tony (& Ade for his guidance last night)

I don't understand. I downloaded the file but all I get is an IP (85.214.139.23) where to do I
have to put this? To the host file?

Thanks

Don't touch the file, just save it to your C:\GTL folder. Then fire up the game & go to multiplayer. The you get the option to access with the "lobby" or a "LAN/IP" connection... you want the "LAN/IP" connection. Then there will be a button to "add IP address", click on that & type in "81.19.209.165". Once you've done that, you can probably work out the rest  Smiley (but let us know if you can't)

Ade is correct, unless you have previously made any changes to the Host file? (I think Wink)

If you have previously added any lines to your host file (i.e. 127.0.0.1 localhost www.gtl-server.net), you need to remove them to use this fix method  Smiley.
Also, if you had anti-deco installed, I think that needs to be uninstalled too? Hopefully someone will confirm.

That is what I did.

I believe most of us installed the anti-deco patch Legzy. I'm not at home can someone tell me please
how do I unistall it? And it is enough to remove the local host adress?
Now I'm really confused. Damn noob...

PR have a look in your GTL folder, there should be an anti deco uninstall icon, double click on it and it should delete it ( just check it hasn't left a file with RUBY in the name) if it has delete it, you may have to drag and drop it out of your GTL folder to desktop and then delete it (i know i did) then have a look in your host file and delete the ip address that the last fix wrote in there should read something like this xxx.xxx.xx localhost www.gtl-server.net , should work OK after that.
