Moderator's Report

Server replay time: 63s

In a night race, Minton loses control of his car at the start and spins, ending up facing the wrong way. As LigelC and Racepace approach Minton attempts a controlled spin but in the process of this execution he collides with LigelC and Racepace causing them both to have spins.

Server replay time: 134s

Sandor is following Legzy through the twisty mountain section. As they clear the final right hander they see Geoffers upturned car sliding left to right across the track. Legzy reacts by moving to the left to miss Geoffers wreck but Sandor is also taking this route so Legzy and Sandor collide. Sandor is able to continue but the impact sends Legzy into Geoffers. Legzy then is upturned but is able to continue after a while.
I would have to put this down to a racing incident as I see no blame can be shouldered by any of the drivers involved.

Can you all reply to the poll at the top of this page.

Just to give us an idea of how many can/cannot connect.

Thanks

Although this contradicts what I said in an earlier post...........

Please try this Remove "81.3.59.61 www.gtl-server.net" from your hosts file (Located in C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc).

Tried that aswell, didn't work either.

Hi everyone!
I had some time for racing today so thought I would try getting on the server again.

Seems I can get in after a bit of fiddling (removing traces of my last attempt with Antideco) but it's quite random if the game shows up or not... sometimes it's there and sometimes not.

I assume nobody else is practicing tonight becuase the time I did get on I was alone (thinking it is Thursday so I'm a day ahead of myself!) but then when I tried to log back in the game wasn't listed ("no games found").

I'm using the TXT file in the GTL folder option as I had all sorts of fun and games with the other method + Vista.

Hope to see you on track soon!
Cheers,
Baracus

Please note: If we do not get, what we consider to be, enough drivers able to connect, we will cancel this GTL event and replace it with a P&G Gr.5 and Gr.2 race at Goodwood.

I've no problems connecting.

I entered my hosts file adding the  85.214.139.23   server IP and deleted the others that were already present in the file. I entered the game, added our IP and bingo. I later changed my password as advised again with no problems.

Might the issues be caused by other IP addresses not being deleted in the hosts file?

Hey GT sounds like you have used a bit off both solutions. If I have understood your message correctly your saying that you haven't downloaded the local_ip_lobby text file but have added the IP address 85.214.139.23 into your lobby file and not used anti deco icon launch. Yes?

I dont think its any different as i thought the local_ip_lobby text file overrid any address in the hosts file.
