Moderator's Report

Server replay time: 549s

Gomes tries to overtake Ade going on the inside at Rivage, locks up and makes contact sending Ade off the track. Gomes allows Ade back through once he rejoins.
I see this overtake as ambitious as evidenced by Gomes locking his wheels whilst trying to keep a faster, tighter line.

  • Gomes Silvapenalty — Ambitious overtake — 2 places lost

Server replay time: 631s

Gomes gives Ade a good start once he has let him back through but is much quicker down the long back straight. Gomes is much faster through Blanchimont and can not avoid contact with the read of Ade's Lotus. After these two pieces of contact, Ade has lost 9 places in just over half a lap. Again both drivers behave in a gentlemanly way and Gomes waits for Ade at the bus stop and flashes an acknowledgement.
Although Gomes is clearly the faster driver at this stage of the race there is no option but to penalise a further two places.

It'll be interesting to see the GT3 cars around Spa, should give some indication of the way things pan out around Le mans. Looking forward to this even though i cant quite remember the choices!

I do remember people taking about new cars in the GT3 class? Undecided  maybe not then Wink

this gt3 series was the dullest we've ever run.  sleep1 Endurance length races in slow cars  Lips Sealed Donington had 12 vertigos of the 19 cars that took part  Roll Eyes hence why i only attended 1 round of the whole campaign.
Not sure i will bother this time either which is a shame  Sad

Thanks MJ, you've just summed up how I feel about the GT1 cars that are a weekly fixture.

I'm not sure Dave's picked up on your subtle hints as to your feelings towards GT3 yet mate... you might want to mention them just one more time in case? Undecided Grin Wink

p.s. As a former Vertigo driver, there's no way you'll see me in one now... not sure what I will be in though  Undecided

Yes, same set of choices.

None of the tracks are likely to suit the Vertislow, although that doesn't mean that the aliens won't be able to win with it.

May be that should be a requirement for the mini series?

was just thinking this morning, might try a Viper out for this mini series. I watched the British GT round at Spa last night (loads of cool onboard action)  8)and it gave me a taste for driving the Mosler but dont think thats in this series is it? The rest of the cars dont grab me much and the older cup porker is way out powered by everything else in this crummy group.
The lure of Spa and Le Mans is too hard to resist, even if i have to use a push bike  Grin

Yep the top 4 at Donington only contained 1 Vertogo. 1st was a Nissan, 2nd was a Vertigo, 3rd was a Elise and 4th was a BMW.

I actually felt people took the easy option in the GT3 series and opted for the Vertigo. We only had 1 Porsche and 2 Elises most of the season. Would had been nice to have had a bigger mix of cars.

NP, I remembered Blunder & me getting some tips off you in the past & that you were disappointed when we stopped using the Elise.
Will be good to see you back with us.  Cool

Surely with the high speed nature of Spa and Le Mans, the Viper is going to clean up?  Undecided in a normal season the results would get balanced out on the twistier tracks where the elise and Verts come to the fore.
