Loving that track after the first few laps. I was down to the 2:08 but still lots of time to make I think

Gonna be a great race laugh

I don't know, it's difficult to attack because of the kerbs. But it's definately different and nice and fast, which I really like.

Thanks for the variety Gizmo  Cool

PC froze while in the car setup screens with less than a minute to go till the race Angry Just heard a bit of static or interference on the headphones which i'd not heard before.

Have fun guys, love the track but more for hot lapping. Not sure i'll ever learn the track properly.

Had to grab the phone but still tried to drive I was enjoying that so much Grin I wasn't good enough to do both and crashed out.

Race with Busi was just about to begin so I've no idea what its like to race on that track. Gotta say that I found those hairpins with braking zones around corners a real test and rather exciting. No problems to report, although cut detection in T2 is a little wonky, and I enjoyed the test there more than Oschers for example. Nice find Dave Smiley

Brilliant race, started 3rd and followed sbg closely till he crashed.

FreQ was stunningly fast, Lister must have been better round here otherwise I can't find an explaination to that speed lol Lazlow was also catching me in the other Lister, I was struggling with worn fronts and overheated rears, I was all over the place in those slow corners in the last sector, so much fun Grin

I must say I quite enjoyed that!! euro
I can't wait to try out the Lister again!! It could be a contender for me to drive in the up and coming season.
Well done  alien's (Freq, Busi and SBG)....where do you get that un-earthly pace from. Grin

Good fun race with Ade and Picnic for almost all the race. started as Ade  - me - Picnic, ended as me - Picnic - Ade
both were a tad faster when they did tidy laps, but the straight line speed of the 550 seemed to keep them at bay

Provisional Results available.

Really enjoyed that. Installed the track a whole 30 mins before race start only for the phone to go, so P1 was the first time I'd ever done a lap here.

both were a tad faster when they did tidy laps

Enjoyed the battle, but my faster was 0.001 on fastest laps Wink Fortunately for me JPS did a Vettle on lap 1 and went wide letting me through. I then managed to find a bit more pace over the quick lap I did in Q1. I suspect a setup may have been useful but I just raced the default C6 with too much fuel and a change to the gear ratios. I was eating the engine some what so the last few laps I was short shifting.

What an exciting track for GT1s.

I found it extremely difficult controlling it through those downhill braking zones into the chicanes and spun the MC12 3 or 4 timesearly on. I tail ended Smokey during one of these and spun him round, but at the time I didn't feel any contact. Apologies again Smokey and hope it didn't cause any damage. Embarrassed

I eventually clipped a curb and put it in the wall at a point where I'd never been off before, which meant a long pit for repairs. I eventually got it home for a top 10 finish clap

Excellent battle despite my continuing struggle to really get to grips with the track. As usual you managed to pick a car which was desperately fast down the straights despite being dreadfully slow into, through and out of the corners and as usual I had to wait until my tyres had gone through their off balance phase to really attack in those few laps.

Sorry about the contact on the penultimate lap. I was just thinking about where I was going to have a go on the last lap and totally missed my braking point - hoped you might see it coming and let me just run off but it all happened rather quickly. Shocked

Track seemed to work fine and I don't think we had any issues with 'magic catapult' curbs and the like. Cool

No worries Dave, it was tight racing..you did well to drive the entire race virtually on my rear bumper

That track is fun, interesting and I was learning and improving my lines as the race wore on, usually a sign of a technical or difficult to master track. It's certainly not a "learn it in 5 laps track" like Monza. It's varied and rewarding to drive though, I hope we can use it again.

It looked like it was going to be close between me, SBG and Busi, only 1 tenth in qually and the first few laps were close. But I don't really know what happened, I just learnt some new lines, especially a new way to take t1 which lopped about a second off my practise times on the race fuel and the gap grew from there. Sorry if that was boring  Sad

Funny SBG, I'd have been off in a second. I can't talk and race  Cheesy

I was planning to take the Lambo for this. It's a fun race and I last used the Lambo in S4-6 which is quite a while ago now, but trying to practise with it meant I was relearning a car and learning a difficult track and it wasn't working, I was spinning everywhere! I think my best lap was a 2:18 until I decided to stick with the Lister and concentrate on learning the track. I'll likely do the same with Edmonton now.

Saying that though, I'm 90% on taking the Viper for S10, so making these setups is going to do naff all  Cheesy

Oh and T1 cut detection? I haven't had a warning in any session, online or off. I must be doing something wrong  Grin

I lasted three corners in total Smiley

Really enjoyed that track as it has a bit of everything. It was great fun battling Busis Lambo which was far better into big braking zones but the MC12 was much better through the fast corners. Fighting a Viper, if i can get close to Freq, will be equally as exciting. Mention it cause I'm mildly excited about S10 GT1 and dreaming of racing them at Lemans  Wink
