Moderator's Report

Server replay time: 1022s

In the turns after the corkscrew Manteos is following Ade and makes light contact to the rear of Ade's car. He stops to wait for Ade which is good to see. A flustered Ade misjudges the next corner by himself and loses more places.
I am taking the usual prescribed places away from Manteos due to this contact. Manteos asks in his submission if he should take a drive through. This action is not obligatory but might well have negated the penalty in this case.

Server replay time: 1609s

Wiltshire Tony makes contact with Ade as both need to avoid a car already spun at the corner they are approaching. As no penalty has been requested and there are other circumstances, that shall be respected.

  • Racing incident

Server replay time: 1695s

Wiltshire Tony makes a speculative overtaking attempt on the inside at the final corner. He locks up and is obviously leaving the circuit. Ade makes contact as he turns in on the normal line. As Ade continues rightfully to race and seems not to be disadvantaged, I am ruling this a racing incident.

  • Wiltshire Tonyadvice — Take care when overtaking from so far back

Server replay time: 2209s

Ross makes a mistake at the left hander, he leaves the circuit, hits a tyre wall and tries to boot his way through the gravel in one movement. He loses the back of the car slightly and rejoins perpendicular to the circuit leaving the race leader Ayrton no way of avoiding him.
I see this as a dangerous rejoin as Ross did not really attempt to rejoin 'carefully and gradually' and assess the prescribed penalty of three places.

Apologies to Paul who i clumped head on when he span just after the final turn on the straight. I had two cars in front of me that parted to reveal your cobra facing mine head on and had no chance to avoid.

np Mark, as I said, the cars coming round the corner didn't really back off so you would have had little warning.

I think not:-

Lotus Elan = 105bhp , weight 1290lbs
Porsche 914 = 125bhp, weight 2195lbs  Shocked  ...fat little porker  Grin

The newer the sportscar the more it seems to weigh unfortunately  Sad

Not sure where you get your numbers mark - the 914 is 250 hp and the elan 180. Even so, the elan does have a fractionally better power to weight ratio. The 914 is all about carrying speed (as is the elan tbh). The 914 should have rather better grip though with newer tyres and more modern suspension.

Hi Mauizio, welcome to you too  Cheesy
Hopefully you've read what I wrote to Gavino & maybe you can post some Laguna laptimes times also?

As you are teammates elsewhere, the three of you might also want to consider setting up your own team here (so you compete in the team championship also)? If you do, then it can be done by one of you clicking here or by clicking on the "LM2" link (on the dark blue bar at the top of your screen), then clicking on "Team management" on that screen... you will then be asked for a team name etc.

Good luck, & see you on track. Smiley

Thanks for welcome...i'm sorry if i reply only now but its busy period for me and yesterday evening i can't race...and i'm very sad for this..in next two weeks i go in holydays and when i'm back sure i'm on track with other guys !!!

Sorry for my bad english and see soon !!
Bye

Another great race, even if i' ve to excuse with Ade, (disappointed about that... hang) and i hit another car (don't remember who), but it's too difficult to take measures with a group of so different cars and the right drive (surely easier for you guys death stupid)
Anyway seems that all of us had some great fights during the race ... but as ever i made a lot of mistakes during the race that relegated me in 10th position, but happy because finally i've finished a race after 5 events here... clap clap...in Italy we say: "It's better late than never"  balloon balloon
Grats to my Teammates (Gavino & Pippomox) that made 2 Great races in their first event here! Gavino could have win this one, but he was very unlucky Hit with a wet fish! Congratulations to the Podium and to all finshers! Great organization as ever and 26 drivers for the race, surely increase
the possibilities of fun & close races!
Cu in the next one!

Could the drivers who don't have a national flag beside their names in the League table please fill in your profile details for nationality, thank you.

A race of two parts.  First 3 laps were good, managed to avoid incidents and miss stationary/spinning cars.  Laps 4 and 5 gradually went backwards as faster drivers overtook me.

Lap 6 disaster, I went too fast/deep into T1 and kissed kitty litter on right - Laurie and a n other got by whilst I tried to get back up to speed - off line.  This caused me to go wide again on T2 and into the kitty litter, I kept my boot in but the car seem to spear off to the Armco and I got bogged down big time.  I had to slip the clutch using full throttle to get any movement - else the engine died, took over a minute to coax the car out onto the track into last place about a minute behind the next place.  Soldiered on to finish 2 laps down.

Are your figures from the in-game stats Paul ? I got mine from online classic car statistics pages as i was at work. Bit of a difference between the two sets of stats !  Shocked

Your figures look like road car ones - 125 bhp in a racing porsche? Sounds unlikely to me.

First of all I want to say thank you to all drivers .... Fair play has been the real winner of this race !

Qual did not excite me so much .... I got a time at least 1.5sec slower than my best ever in this track with Elan ... Anyway 8th position was not so bad at all !
During the race my first goal was to see the chequered flag, so I had a very conservative driving, trying to avoid any trouble.
Frankly speaking race became a bit boring after 7-8 laps because of absolutely no fight with other drivers ....
Too fast guys in front of me and quit far others behind me made my race like a "walk" !
At the end I got a 5th pos that is much more than I expected considering that this was my debut in this league.
Happy to see Gavino fighting for the first position until the end of the race ... Bad luck was just waiting him behind a turn !!!!

Grats to everyone finished the race, especially to whom got the podium ... Well done !

See you soon !

I don't usually do them for fun races but for official league ones (well GTR2 based ones) I do them as standard now. And because I often have to fix the multiple entries issue they are cleaner too  Smiley
