TeamSpeak back up as well on IP 81.19.209.165
If you used one of Dave's names it may take a day or two to update because of the way DNS works.

Grr. once again the game/ pc froze. With a minute or so to the end of qually and managed some feat to get ahead of Legzy, I was just looking at the setup page when i heard clicking noises on the headset and the cursor stopped moving. Twice now as well

Was going great until I crashed. Nice little tussle with Fish Tale and then what was shaping up to be an epic chase with JPS. I could not get passed. I was not quick enough in the rite places. It was fun trying though, nice one JPS. I hit a rather heavily solidified tyre barrier on the right hand side of the S/F straight on lap 15 ending the fun. Such a shame. Enjoy the race all.

Had a wobble and hit the wall, lost splitter and left front had a puncture. Tried to get to the pits but the car swerved into the ground obstacle and died.

Was enjoying it until the rain came! That'll teach me not to do any wet practise, FPS dropped quite low too which didn't help.
Not really how I planned to loose my racing cherry, but a good learning experience.
To all of those who lapped me (that'll be everyone then!) I tried to get out of the way quickly and safely, and I hope I didn't hold you up.
Congrats to all.
I'm off to sort out an upgrade!

Wow that Viper is crazy in the wet!! I had the rear wing set to 2 which was ok in the dry, but not in the wet Oh well...well done to the podies, and all that finished. See you next time Laz

Glad I took my rear wing down to 1 now; got a bit lucky that the rain came at just the right time for my pit stop, but the longer it continued the more I needed to slide the back of the car around a lot to keep the rears warm.
Legzy was a bit unlucky to stop before the clouds became dark enough to make rain inevitable. If it had stayed dry I doubt I'd have managed to keep ahead of him. As it was, my Dunlops worked so well in the wet I ended up with a full lap in hand over him.

Had a wobble and hit the wall, lost splitter and left front had a puncture. Tried to get to the pits but the car swerved into the ground obstacle and died. That scared the herring out of me - I could see you were slow into that right hander but then you just stopped dead on that big curb thing and I nearly ran smack into the back of you!

Enjoyed that one That should be the standard vertigo test track....it's made for it. PB for pole by nearly half a second Race went mostly to plan. I had a moment just as the sky went black though and let Gazza through then struggled round for maybe a lap too many on slicks in the wet and ended up 9 secs behind him after the stop. Soon caught him though, I was lapping 2 or 3 secs a lap quicker on soft wets. I lost it again at the double righthander near the end of the lap with a double downshift spinning me round and Gazza got through again .....but once again I soon caught him and he didn't put up a fight realising I was quite a bit faster. Grats everyone, a difficult track in the wet but the racing was good as usual.

Replay and provisional results posted LapChartLack of server testing meant I didn't spot the game was running a different PLR file to the normal one so no date / time stamped replays. The race one was overwritten. Sorry folks. Will be sorted for the next event.

Well done, GazzerChamp. My premature race ending also ended my dreams of winning the Summer Challenge. Well, it's all my fault. TT P.S. Psuedo, well done for the comeback win.

I actually like that track I think it takes some skill to be quick and keep it off the walls. The race was similar to Brands as i knew Bob was a bit quicker in the Vertigo so just tried to be smooth and consistant and stay away from the walls. Thought it was going to be a really close battle with TT and Lazlow but seems they both had some troubles. Rain came just on my pitstop window so was lucky there but i think i chose the wrong tyres as my hard wets never got above 40 degrees which meant i didnt have much grip but just tried to keep it on the road, Picnic was catching me with 20 mins to go and i thought he would be right on me at the end but the last 10 mins he seemed to slip back giving me some breathing space and a good second. Grats Bob and Picnic. Well done Fish Tail for almost finishing lol your first race and you get rain Looked like you were doing fine though and i know your system was probably struggling with the conditions.
