Moderator's Report

Server replay time: 1732s

(VDA) King spins into the pit wall along the start/finish straight. He begins to rejoin just as Tibernius comes round the corner, who is just visible. (VDA) King spins round taking up most of the track width and Tibernius has no opportunity to avoid. Both retire.

Penalty is 1 place, not the maximum 3, since Tibernius had only just appeared as the rejoin began so may not have been seen in the heat of the moment, but (VDA) King's manouvre was quite wild and uncontrolled, leaving almost no track width clear for oncoming cars and so warrants a penalty.


Server replay time: 3617s

Ade is apporaching LigelC to lap him. Laurie appears to move to the middle of the track so Ade looks to pass round the outside into the corner. Entering the braking zone Laurie moves back out to the racing line on the outside and Ade, who is braking much later runs into the back of him losing several seconds and allowing the car behind to close right up.

Ade requests no penalty and the incident involves just a minor misjudgment by Laurie. Its a good opportunity to remind all drivers being lapped to try and hold their line with no sudden direction changes, and no sudden lifts on the throttle.

Report! better late than never!

Oh, what fun we had!  Grin

Qualified in 11th, better than I had dared to hope given my 'promotion' to Group D Sad

Great start up to 7th immediately and closing on those in front!
Hit the inside kerb on the last corner of the first lap!  :'(
Span round, couldn't rejoin immediately as I thought I might take someone else out so was dead last at the end of Lap 1 !
What a wally!  Grin

Dug deep and made it up to 7th with lots of good battles along the way!
Bit of a bump from Tim at turn 1 but hey, these things happen!
Ran out of fuel with 100yds to go!! Wally ! again!  Grin

Luckily my 'wingman' ( Legzy ) took pity on me and pushed me over the line!  Thanks buddy!  Wink
What a gentleman!  Grin

Lessons learned then!  Grin but fantastic fun!

Can't tell you how much I am enjoying this so am really crossing my fingers we can find a simple system to continue this level of fun, close racing with less effort from the admins!

Love the 2x fuel, tyres, 60mins plus stops! whatever variations you want to add! bring it all on!

Only issue is that no matter what races are coming up ( GTR2, GTL etc. ), when I sit down to practice, all I want to load is PnG !

Just seen comments from Legzy and Laurie, I really am having difficulty finding practice time, also all these odd jobs between showers is slowing me down.  

Interlagos is a track I've raced on a number of times and I just can't get that series of uphill 2nd gear corners right I go off 90 odd per cent of times.

Incidentally I will not be racing GTL tonight - not had time to learn the track, not helped by lack of marker boards and the changes of road colours blending with backgrounds making recognising corners difficult.

First of all, I must make my apologize to what happened at Tibernius. King told me that returned into the track badly, and because of that you have not been able to avoid him... He was really disappointed about that... I will submit an accident report. I hope that you accept his apologize Smiley.

No problem, accidents happen. I was just in the wrong place at the wrong time.
If I'd have lifted off the throttle I might have managed to avoid him, but of course I didn't think of that at the time. Roll Eyes

Ditto and double ditto !  As i mentioned online last night, i am struggling to get motivated for the modern GT cars in the srouk leagues that i normally chomp at the bit to get into. The sim racing experience just doesnt compare to racing the 'alive' cars in the P&G mod.  Cool
