Moderator's Report

Server replay time: 52s

Spanner runs into the back of Lazlow at T1 having been distracted by Samb out wide, causing Lazlow to spin into Samb, then spin back into the path of the rest of the field, hitting Tibernius and some other light contacts. Everyone is able to carry on but Lazlow loses quite a few places.

This has to be the full 2 place penalty given that it was a totally avoidable first corner incident when everyone has to be extra careful, and could have taken out half the field if the spinning cars had fallen differently.

The TeamSpeak server IP changed a while ago, you'll need to update that. It'll be on the connect screen.

Use the race password for the game server and the ip for teamspeak is 81.19.209.165:8787 and that's set to the practice password.

is this working tonight?  I just ran that lobby bypass, put this in for IP 81.19.209.165 and it says no games to join  Huh

still cant get a connection to TS or in the game to login!

If you've used the previous anti-disconnection patch you need to uninstall that first, then run the new one.

Have a a look in your windows directory C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc host and put copy and past this  81.3.59.61 www.gtl-server.net   at the bottom of your host file
, make sure you have removed the antideco patch first.
Make sure this isnt  in your host file 127.0.0.1 local host www.gtl-server.net

nope gave up wouldnt work for me either thru normal multiplayer lobby or direct ip address. Not wasting anymore time on it. Would rather practise at Interlagos p&g style.

You probably need to change your Windows Explorer settings to show system files.

I've just poked the right address in my hosts file and I can get in the lobby as normal.

Go Daddy (who 'own' the domain right now) are one of several DNS hosts currently fingered as being rather naughty when it comes to hanging onto expired and unrenewed domains they don't have any legal rights to so it may drag on somewhat.

With my iRacing subscription expiring this weekend I may turn my attention to developing an 'installer' to do the hosts tweak for those who don't have what Bhuddists might call 'the geek nature'.

Sorry guys, just couldn't get in the swing of things tonight despite a fair amount of practice.  Apologies to Tinman who I bumped under braking on lap 1 - completely my fault - really sorry.
