That end to my race just about wrapped up a dysmal race event for me. Came flying around a corner at full chat chasing Legzy and hit a stationary/Disco'd Spanner in an Aston My car launched into the air in a spectacular end over end barrel roll..race over I sucked big time anyway, bad preparation, indecision of car choice, lack of praccy, no decent setup and too much P&G lately left me floundering I dont even like the track ! Not a great showing for the Legends in GTC with all 3 of us at the back of the field, one to forget in a hurry.

Loved GTC last season...having to race with GT1 cars seem to take the shine off this great formula for me..didn't help things when I got shunted up the rear by a GT1 car whilst on the racing line in the braking zone severe rear end damage..undrivable..race over..GTC and GT1.. is it a good mix..? Anyway congrats to the podium GTC/GT1

Was really happy with how things were going, managed to avoid the carnage, tyres slowly going off but was trying to manage it till my stop in a few laps and happy with the pace. Err how shall i word this. What the hell happend on the pace lap?

My race lasted only 4 laps, after a good fight with H@l, I was thrown out by him, seems you have lost totally the braking reference... and my car reported a suspention damage than i decided to push esc... Anyway thanks for waiting H@l! It's always good to see fair play between gentlemans! Don't worry about the incident... sometimes happens... Cu at the next... I hope to be more lucky ! Bye!

This game hates me Think I've cured pc problems by leaving processor fan on manual setting, its noisier but cooler, and me engine gos and blows up 8 laps from the end. Typical Aston. Go to say standards were excellent from GTC gents as its a bit tricky. Off to Spa next time out (rubbing it in there ) so cya in two weeks. Congrats to Freq who at least I kept honest. p.s. chap in Pseudo GTC Viper may need to re-calibrate his brake pedals or something as his brake lights were coming on in main straight etc.

Hadn't raced GTR2 since May 31st at the end of last season and was going to race GT1. Joined the server in the Lister, but saw the balance of GT1/GTC wasn't very good so both me and Picnic swapped to GTC to even it out. Hopped in my trusty Morgan and managed 3rd on the grid with my Brno setup.
I kept with the leading two GTCs for the first half of the race, but just before the pitsopts API made a mistake in his Mosler and I was through into the lead. Took my pit stop and had a 40 second lead to API again. Just cruised around for the last 35 minutes making sure I didn't fall off or break the car.
1st and 5th in both categories is a great result for the team to start the season off with.
Big performance gap between GTC and GT1, was quite scarey at times how quick those GT1s got up to you.

Sorry JPS, that was me, thought that the gap you left on left hand side was for me, only to see it very quickly dissappear. Congrats Freq, nice fight TT at the begginning, was able to stay with you until we hit the traffic, I got taken wide by a Legends porker, then went off again trying to catch you up. Then spent all my time after pitstop trying to close down Jose A. Started 15 secs behind, ended up about 3 behind, too many mistakes trying too hard. Congrats all.

Unlucky Gin , I thought your pc had flunked again. My race was pretty eventful. Only fell off once, that was until I started catching the GTC guys. Didn't want to chance it going into the corners, so waited for a straight which put me off line for the corners. Result: lots of visits to the gravel. API and Prof must have been sick of the sight of me (by the way, nice to see you back Prof). Had good battles with Fishtail and Smokey until I went ahead at the pitstop. managed to topple off once too often with a couple of minutes to go and hit the wall causing a puncture and aero damage. Got to the pits and changed tyres, forgot to cancel fuel and then had a stop go penalty in all the excitement. Managed to limp it round (hope I didn't get in anyone's way) and served my stop go with the clock at zero. Crossed the finish line in the pit lane for 10th place Congrats to podiums

It was fun indeed. I was thrown out by him, seems you have lost totally the braking reference...
Guilty. Sorry mate. It was the classic mistake to make when following close. Bad judgement on my part. I definitely ruined a good race then. Well done podiums. 2nd in the Marcos TT??? !!! Speed difference between classes gives GT1 the option to muscle through. GT1s need to be patient. I hope I was patient enough when I was coming through from the back. I did not want to ruin any more races tonight. Thanks GTC runners for being so polite. I did enjoy driving the Viper but its not easy.

I was shocking tonight Sorry to everyone at the start, spun on the formation lap, was coasting round corner and slightest touch on the pedal gave me full throttle did it for a few seconds after aswell so not sure what was going on there. First stint i was rubbish, no consistency at all and all over the place, didnt do enough practice in this car. Then i did the unspeakable and took out my team boss Really sorry bob, totally lost my bearings in the braking after lapping a car. Did a drive through to calm down. Second stint i was much better but still off the pace. Not sure what to do about car choice now as wanted to drive a different one but after that display i might go back to a car i know. Grats podiums.

Enjoyed that. Probably my most consistant race yet. Seemed to be matched for pace by 57goldtop and Smokey in the first stint, only changing places with them when one had a spin. I pitted 1st out of us 3 as my soft fronts were on the limit, and a few laps later was side by side with Smokey as he was exiting the pits! I held my nerve into the 1st corner, but with cold brakes and tyres Smokey conceded the place, and I managed to keep him at bay (just) for the last stint. I thought Goldtop was uncatchable at 20 secs ahead with 12 or so laps left, I guess he had a trip in the gravel as the gap dropped down to 8 sec then, I was lucky to see him the the gravel again which gifted me 8th. Thanks to the GTC lads, I just tried to be patient and pass on the long straights. I can imagine Legzy saying "I told you so..." as I passed him, only to drift wide and let him back through! Not a good night for you then Gazza? surely there's a forefit for taking out the team captain?

I think it was me with the flashing brake lights. The guys foot jumps on and off the brake I've tried calibrating, doesn't seem to make much diff. SOrry if was off putting.
