Oops...I didn't mean to leave it this late to post here
Was a fun race at the start with Ginsters behind and following close. Only when we hit traffic did the gap start to open up a bit. I'm surprised at the gap I had out of the pits, thought that the Aston would be more fuel efficient than the Viper (3l a lap). Not long after, the gap was up again when Ginsters lost his engine. Any warning, like health dropping? I think I finished on 92%.
Towards the end I probably should have just eased off, but it was more fun to keep going at a decent pace. The Viper is flattered a bit round here, with 1/2/3 gear only corners and nice straights. Shorter straights and faster corners will make it much tougher to use and I'm expecting Suzuka sector 1 to be tough going.
Nice result for the team, just hope Pete can sort out his crappy ADSL. Also I thought I should mention that Stewprovo is getting nice and fast, only 3/10's off Ginsters who's run up the front quite a lot. Nice work.
How TT got second in the Marcos I don't know, I'm 2 seconds a lap slower than him round this track in that car. Good luck next time out
See ya at Suzuka
