I'm burning my tyres out after 2 laps Huh

Adjusted pressures, wing, and tyre compound, same results. Up into 130deg across the rears and 115's on the fronts
I was burning up softs like you, but could almost get away with meds. You must be going too fast, it's not like it's a race you know  Wink

Sorry to all for the mayhem I caused, why the car felt so totally different from Q2 to race is anyone's guess but I had no control of my rear end in the slow corners. Rear tyre temps were stupidly high whereas they were fine during Q2 when I was consistently lapping 1-2 secs quicker.

After 2 woeful performances I won't be bothering again, sorry.

Bugger was enjoying that...then Disco Stu kicked in, race over  :'(

Great track Mugello, love it.  Cool The little feisty lotus' were great fun on it too. Shame the Exiges seemed to have a second over them on a lap as it made a race of two halves.

Not had a disco mid race for absolute yonks. Think my cpu/gxf card was a little too hot from several hours of intensive gfx work in Rise of flight beforehand  Undecided

Good fun whilst it lasted, was running 9th i think at time of disco.

Decided to retire rather than risk hitting someone...back end went for no apparent reason halfway through the last chicane.

One CTD in qually (froze, came back again with all of the menus corrupted) and another when I exited the race (graphics card driver had stopped responding, had to restart the PC). That's 3 in a week now. Don't think I'll bother getting an nVidia graphics card again.

Joined the server but didn't know if I'd be able to race or not till the 2min count down started. Loaded up a setup (the wrong one) & think I was last to join the grid.

Felt like I was quicker through most of the track then some of the guys just in front but like Picnic, my rear end was all over the place for some reason & I span it three times in four laps I think. Undecided

Was running 2nd last & about to put a move on Smokey when my network connection died. Bummer, but I suppose at least I got a few laps in  Sad

Went of early while trying to take advantage of a mistake by MJs tail happy Lotus. Then had a bigger off when I selected 1st instead of 2nd going into a corner to put me last. Pushed hard and caught Smokey who let me past down the straight - cheers mate Smiley and then went to work on catching Matt.

Couple of discos in front of me( I saw Legzy energising) and Matt went off on the last corner allowing me to get closer. Had a nice little scrap with Matt and almost had him when he ran slightly wide on the penultimate lap. Next time mate Wink

That was a good bit o'fun. Never driven at Mugello before, never raced a lotus before
I normally avoid cars with bags of cement in the back. made a very tame easy listening
setup, was off the pace, but oddly my best qual lap was when I did a few practice
laps with race setup at the end of qual  Shocked
low fuel and softs were not good for me apparently  Wink
Was almost keeping MJ in sight when he had "electrical problems" and sat quivering on the track
had some fun trying to keep Dave behind, had a misunderstanding in the 2nd to last with Laz
odd, Les Paul did the same thing near the end of the race, must be my crappy wide line there
Took a conservative not too loose setup, thinking rears would go off, but actually was other way round
fronts got very slidey, and i went off a couple of times misjudgin braking. took 27 secs to get back
on the track once, as the grass seemed to have a turntable on it, and I did donuts one way then t'other
ANyroad up, grat to Ade. Chortle, when you lapped me one from end, I assumed you woudl go steaming
past up the straight! but err why is he crawling past so slowly  Grin

Eventfull race to say the least...I'm feeling a bit dizzy after all my spins  laugh
Fantastic track, and a fantastic Exige (once I found a setup!!)
Sorry for the collision Matt...I hope I didn't disrupt your race to much.

Laters
Laz

p.s. well done Ade on the win  clap

No Biggie Lazlow. was a bit miffed at MJ then being out of reach, but he evaporated soon after anyway
One thing: In praccy earlier my pc had a Graphics driver prob which "WIndows has found a solution to"
update driver it said, doesn't it always... Maybe I will anyway.
The screen hung for about 5 secs then the game continued as if nothing had happened, "fault tolerant PC"
This I approve of  Cool

Great fight for Elise victory! Started at the front but I braked too late in T1, TT went past.

A first little fight with a couple of attempts in the main straight, but I couldn't make the move, either brake too late and TT retook the place or brake a bit too early and he kept the place. I went off again, had to catch up again, then I finally did it after lots of action Cheesy well done podiums
