UKGPL Season 17 (2009) - SUMMER MADNESS - Clermont-Ferrand 65 - Jul 28

This is the first of our Summer Madness fun races, a two-parter along with Adelaide (see separate thread).
Please note we are using the Clermont-Ferrand 1965 track, available here; http://srmz.net/index.php?showtopic=921&st=0&p=6104&#entry6104
The race is open to anyone and will not be passworded or moderated.

Please be in IGOR UKGPL chatroom by 8:50 p.m.
(You will need to set up a channel called #ukgpl if you haven't already done so)

Track =  Clermont-Ferrand 65
Variant = 65mod
Damage Model = Intermediate
Qually time = 15 minutes.
Race length = Int-Short (6 laps)

Chassis assignments: any chassis you like

As well as having a bit of fun we are looking for feedback re your connection and thoughts on the track for possible future inclusion in UKGPL official races...

I'll put it in my diary, we run CF in the ADC, must check if it is the same version, as they are slightly different layouts

Clermont-Ferrand sounds like a blast. I'll give this a go, considering it's needed for GPL65Rank.

Yes, it only reads Charade on the event calendar as that is what is loaded into the srou database.

You are of course aware that there's a GPL65Rank and a GPL65Rank v2 that has the proper Clermont-Ferrand?

Yes, it only reads Charade on the event calendar as that is what is loaded into the srou database.

Uhm, why not use the proper Clermont then? Charade is so wrong and ugly, lol. It's still good for racing, but...

To clarify - the database track selection on the srou/ukgpl list only has Charade set up - I put that as we have to use something when posting the race thread. We ARE actually running on the proper Clermont-Ferrand 65 track.
All an internal system thing to allow import of the results - if the track becomes a regular we'll arrange to load it up on the database under CF...

I'll try and make this one, the 65 CF track is very nice (I like the overhanging branches LOL).
