Thanks for the tip Ade, will try it later.
I used to race with Mercedes Benz Truck Racing game a few years ago.

But that game doesn't support new GFX drivers and I had put it away.

Cheers

If you've got rFactor, try out this mod, it' s bloody awesome:

Here is a video of a race of mine at a public server ages ago. These trucks are so fun to drive Grin

The Renault game is quite promising but I found the graphics strangely jerky, and the trucks had no steering feel whatsoever no matter what FFB settings I tried. Huh

Finally got round to installing rFactor on my current games box, and upgrading to 1255. Tried the trucks mod and they're quite fun under power, but the brakes seem totally random. Huh

What do you mean random? I can remember brakefailure being a quite common thing in long races or with time scaled failures on. Also the unlimited trucks will get that a lot quicker.

Those trucks are awesome, huge amounts of torque with no weight on the rearwheels Grin

Not brake failure, just the fact that whether I apply the brake pedal or how hard seems to have little or no impact on how fast the thing slows down. Not helped by the powerband being so narrow and 100mph limit so low that gear selection appears to be 4th or 5th at anything but a noddy track.

As I say, fun on the throttle but daft in all other respects.

Very different sort of truck! Cheesy

Unfortunately, I can't play. I use a Black Momo Logitech Wheel with a Speed7 Pedals
and the game doesn't allow me to use them both. Only be able to use one of them.  Tongue
