I've now managed a 29.1 on race fuel in the 911 3.0 - tried the 906 but just couldn't string more than half a lap together without falling off. Default cambers are mad but 'correcting' them (based on tyre temps) just made things worse.

I thought I've raced here before, but on driving it the track looked very different.... then realised this track ain't Road America I really don't like this track, it has some nasty bumps on it, which gives the 906 problems, particularly in the last turn. I've tried raising the ride height & stiffening the suspension but it is still a handful with full fuel Also tried the 911 RSR but I keep losing the back end when exiting the slower corners. Am I driving it wrong or is it setup? My best times are: 911 RSR - 1.30.5 906-6 - 1:31.0

bah i blew my planned evening of P&G, got distracted and flew all night online in Rise of flight again. By the time i got online later i just couldnt get into it. Still doubt i can even be home in time for this tomorrow, too many people want a piece of me on my bday...mad fools Hope i can, but it may be very last minute and these races usually fill up fast. May well have to take the RSR w/b as only chance i have of trying to keep up with those fast Italians ! Will choose on night, dont mind either 911.

I was quite chuffed to manage a 1:27.0 in qually setup last night (with 11 of us on the server) Sadly I think I've managed only a whole two other laps in the 27's

Tonight's Drivers please take note:I'm sure you've seen the disappointingly long list of incidents from Lime Rock now. That is not a normal example of our racing here & hopefully any kind of repeat performance will be avoided. We are here for good clean racing only. With that in mind, Road Atlanta is a fun track but it's a tough track. The Porsche's we're using tonight are fun to drive but they are cars that are capable of catching even the best drivers out. Please do enjoy the racing tonight, but use some thought when you're driving near others. The race is 27 laps & will not be won on lap one turn one (or the slow turn two chicane either!).Please remember our #1 rule on passing for position is, and always has been: " Where drivers are racing for position, they are expected to display a high level of sportsmanship". If you have not familiar with this leagues rules, please see them here before you race. Cheers all p.s. I think I'm turning into Psuedo

I'm still not consistent enough to stay on the track with this car/track combo for the whole race so I'll give it a miss tonight. I'd hate to take someone out Have a good 'un!

Couple of thoughts... You're not trying to use a setup from a different track here are you? I tried that & the car killed me at every turn! This seems to be a very specific track. Have you tried out the 914? It's not the fastest car obviously, but it's possibly the most controllable/consistent. Have you downloaded any of our online setups? I could give you my '911 RSR 3L' if you like, it's relatively safe through the slow bits but not too understeery on the fast bits. Let me know . Or come on Team Speak before 8pm, normally one of us will know how to help reduce a problem (& it's good fun). I do hope to still see you join us

If anyone's struggling for a setup on the 906E I've just put mine up in the Roadatlanta folder: "goldy 906 E Roadatlanta"

Thanks for the advice Legzy. The 914 did seem the most stable of the bunch (but was still a bit unpredictable). Has anyone got a decent setup for it I could use?
Cheers in advance

Ade is putting his 914 setup online in the " ! SROU PnG" folder. He says that it's tricky on the 1st lap & then it's fine.

Ok, now I am annoyed Was shiwing 2nd on grid, then dissappeared from the listing altogether. joined race anyway, and was pointing the wrong way, as was someone else turned round, didnt see start signal, set5 off in 25th place then 26th out of 25 huh! laps were not counting down. had driven 2 1/2 hours to be home for this race so carried on , lost it watching lap counter instead of track, tried to gert out of the way sorry to anyone who hit me.

Same happened to me Matt, really ticked off, was having good scraps all the way with Pribs (nice overtake on the outside) and Tibs and then windows updater killed the race for me by freezing my pc, not happy at all.
Actually enjoyed the race more than I thought even getting up to a phantom 7th at one point!
PS. I hope I didn't cause any issues to anyone, feel free to pm me and give me a ticking off if I did!
