Couldn't get on the lobby earlier. are there still problems? I ran patch last night for the Hock race, and had no trouble.

Maaaaybe I can make this. But by that time I've woken up at 5am, did a 1 hour 15 flight, packed the car, drove home for 6 hours, unpacked the car and downloaded everything for the race, so maybe I won't make this

Sorry to intrude Not sure what's going on with the servers etc but if you end up running would it be alright to switch the server back over to GTL when you're done tonight? Up for some praccy and offline is like pulling teeth.

would it be alright to switch the server back over to GTL when you're done tonight?
As usual the non event servers will be shutdown for the duration of the main event. Once the race is finished, when I do the results, the GTL, PnG and next GTR event will all be restarted. Much the same as every race night I'm not racing so tonight so I like to wait until I see a post saying the race has finished before jumping on the server, don't want to cause anyone lag etc. jumping on when the event is still running. Not that I expect it does but best to be careful.

I practiced a good bit today, did a 1:01.5 in the Exige so I think that would be a good qualy time... Nonetheless, went rebooting before entering the server, chose shutdown cause Windows wanted to update some stuff, waited a bit and when it was done I pressed the on button to start the machine up. Black screen... G25 turning rounds and nothing else... Reset/reboot no change. Status led on front of the case stays out. HDD activity led is somewhat on (not flashing). CPU fan (which is on auto speed change) stays off, my ATI card has 3 bright red leds on indicating a failure somewhere. Motherboard power activity led is on (Asus thingy), but it seems to have died when it shutdown after the updates... Good luck fella's, I'm back on investigating my PC...

sorry to say but i found that utterly boring Bit like at brands last time out, expected good close racing but got nothing of the sort, just an evenly spaced procession. The Exiges are too quick for the Elises and now every race is a two tier affair, leaving those of us left in Elises with about a 5 car battle at the rear..whoopee By lap 10 i was daydreaming and by lap 16 plain disinterested. Sorry to sound so negative about it but just my own opinion. I hope the rest of you enjoyed it.

I've quite enjoyed trying to get to grips with the Exige throughout this series. Just when I thought I had it lapping nicely and feeling confident, round comes the back end and bites me in the Arthur Askey. So it was tonight with four or five big spins coming out of those tight corners. I got mugged at the start; someone in front of me was very slow getting off their limiter and I so I hesitated and was passed by a couple of Elises. Gained a couple of places back and had a couple of decent laps before my first spin which put me in next to last. Had some good fun mid race trying to catch Matt in his Elise but dropped it again...and again... Grats to the podies. Haven't done the maths yet but loooks like my teamie did enough to secure at least a championship pody? Well done Ade

Enjoyed that race. Beginning was great with Gazza and Michael, after that Dave had some brave moves which I could barely defend, as my car was horrid with 26 wear at the back and 2-1 wing Grats Gazza
