With the end of the Lotus series, we need something else to fill alternative Tuesday nights. If SRou were to organise an rFactor-based mini-series, would you participate? Please vote in the poll above; my initial thought is to use the good (but hard) CART Factor mod.

I'd like to give rf a go. I'd also like to give the CART mod a go but would prefer a try out of a few good mods if thats an option?

Did I hear that there will be a new version of rF coming out soon? If that's any good, I'd participate in those events, but I've been put off the current rF with it's issues.

I've not voted cos I'll just go with the flow I quite enjoyed the A1 series we did way back when but I've not tried the Cart Mod yet to see just how hard it is.

I'm with picnic on this one and haven't voted , don't mind which mod you use "A change is as good as a rest" as they say.

Yes, but I prefer a non-open wheeler mod.

I've tried this mod a while back and it is tough. I certainly don't have the skills to race competetively and would feel uneasy about possibly ruining others races if I took part. Add to this the fact that I'm not really a fan of rF and I'd have to say I'm not keen. Still, if it goes ahead I'll give it a go and see how I get on with it.

I've voted yes, but to be honest i'll try anything. Having been missing some single seater action and it would be nice to see how rFactor fairs after running GTR2 for so long.
Wonder if, that as most of us havent run rfactor much before that something a little nicer would be a good idea and not put people off straight away? rF3's?

Yes, but I prefer a non-open wheeler mod.
I've been using the BMW 320 E21 add-on for rFactor on Race2Play and it's pretty damn good I've had a quick try of the CART mod and that's is one very fast car so I am up for that

We will try out a few if there's a half decent level of participation, but I'm also (painfully) aware that most of the mods are huuuge downloads (especially for those of us on relatively limited download plans), and the CART one is both relatively small, but also one of the highest quality ones I've tried.

I will give it a try But I feel very uncomfy with the open wheel arches. Slightest misstake and hitting the barrier or another car and your out (more or less), and since I am a "rookie" and don't want to risk anything, I might be to slow for the rest of you guys and will become a speedbump instead of a serious competitor.
