Race did rather fail spectacularly here so I don't think thats an option, which was a shame as I enjoyed it.

I think the idea was that if we got enough from SRou, imho that's 10 that actually turn up and then we can advertise elsewhere and attract another 10-20 from outside. If the series doesn't take off it gets abandoned or moved to a crappy night, e.g. Friday so those that want to can but it doesn't detract from more popular series using the more popular nights.

Build it and they will come (maybe)  Smiley The more time I spend with RF the more I enjoy it but, there other leagues available, apparently, so no worries.

He he.

I have to admit to enjoying my run out in the 911 in rFactor last night once I'd got FF settings that were half decent. Some of the tracks are not of great quality mind you. If there is one thing that iRacing is king at it's the tracks cause places like Lime Rock really are pretty rubbish compared to the one in iRacing.

There are other leagues, but some of them are not as "user friendly" as they were (R2P) and what other league can match SRou for good quality, organisation and gentlemenly drivers? whistling

Maybe whilst we're working out what to do with Tuesdays, we can still run rFactor and if it's not popular move it to another night so that we can still try and move it forward (if it's worth it).

Sticking with one or two mods is a must though as chopping and changing that all the time is going to be a big problem. We must have time to get to learn the mod otherwise no-one will take the races seriously and attendances will be rubbish as people don't want to have to learn new cars every week.

To be fair, thats a criticism you can aim at GTR2 as well. iR is track king and maybe/hopefully that might fill the "available" slot soon? I'm going on/banging on maybe cause I've enjoyed the Enduro mod more than GTR2 recently, which is not something I'd thought I'd say in relation to a RF mod.

For sure stick with one or two mods as, to be honest, there only one or two really, really good ones for me.

Of course I'd rather run RF here but this place can't be all things to all men so its no biggy.

Yes, but the "original" tracks are a good enough quality, even if they aren't anywhere near as good as iRacing. I find a lot of third party tracks have the right layout, but are let down by rubbish the textures, art work and have bugs in them, which you don't get with the originals.

yawn <----- this is me not holding my breath on that one. whistling

I understand. I would say there is something missing from the mod though and that is variety within classes. It's 911s, plus a few Panoz and Spykers. Where are all the GT2 cars we all love from GTR2? Same with GT1.

but this place can't be all things to all men so its no biggy.

There are 7 nights a week. Wink

That was just the first 'Service Pack' (unfortunate name) of the mod. SP2 is due soon with the 430 GT2, Audi R10 TDI, Peugeot 908, Saleen GT1, Acura P2, Porsche RS Syder Evo (Mk.II).

It blocked everything the first few times and then I told it not to block cause I though it was blocking the actual download too. Alas not and now I'm getting all the adverts. Smiley

i dont know why we dropped the tuesday night sprints to be honest  Huh i thought they were always pretty well attended especially GT2 or GTC sprints where the racing action is closer and a good set of cars to choose from and they were spiced up with some variable weather. I am really enjoying the P&G races but dont see why we cant alternate weekly with a good sprint series...or P&G every week  Wink

The elise racing seems a real damp squib to me, have tried to enjoy it but havent and have oddly lost interest in the endurance events lately using the modern gt cars, perhaps i just need a break from sim racing or ive just got bored of the same old tracks that we've used for a few years now  Undecided
