Cheers to our Italian friends for letting us join their practice race this evening. I did feel a bit conspicuous in the red Elan amongst all those Alpines though, especially when they had to restart the race after one of my "moments" Good job it was only MJ I took out

Hi Loris & welcome to UKPnG. Could you let me know what sort of laptimes you are getting here so I can assign you an initial budget? (or Manteos can probably let me know your times too?) Thanks Chris

You beat me to it. Spent the day out roaming around with my wife, it was her birthday, so by 2100 I'd had enough. Sorry I didn't stay for the race. It was very useful practicing/qualifying with other faster drivers and inspired the old competitive spirit. As a result I sorted out my Elan and knocked about 5 secs off my PB. When I left I think I was 8th out of about 12 which was satisfying - although of course most of the other drivers were in Alpines with the fastest about 4 secs faster than me. Bill

Loris can assume his budget is 'about' 54 for the rest of the season. This may of course be slightly tweaked up or down when I confirm his official budget after his first race with us.

That's right madd! The only practice session laptime is that of Loris... I remember that 2 days ago in your server in qualif 1 session, he has done a 1.42.8... We totally hate the Practice 1 session... no grip at all...yesterday during the race with more fuel I managed a 42.2, that was a lot better than my Practice 1 laptime done with 15 ltrs (1.42.9). I think that the Practice session is not useful at all in GTR2... maybe only in practice 2 the grip is more similar to the race grip... Cu

That was great, I didnt know this was same track as Barber Motorsports Park, and i raced it in iracing, know it so well, just been on practice server and was only a second off the leaders on there, just need to find decent car with my tokens and some setups and im sorted, really cant wait. Heres a video from Barber Motorsports Park in iracing, my Radical SR8 Enjoy http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iGwUs0c2XYYIm suprised that since this is my 1st season in PnG, that lot of people have quite few more tokens than me, thats only just started? Im doing 45s in the 911 RSR IROC, 47s Renault Alpine, 48s fez 725 and 50's lotus elise. 43s in Lotus Elan I personally think the 911 RSR IROC is a great car, but it uses 18 tokens, when I should be using 10 max a race, but I dont lose any for 1st race as i couldnt get on server as it was full? Apart from watkins and sebring there are only other tracks i know really well in the season. So it is better for me to use faster car on tracks im more familiar with? Your thoughts please...
