I really enjoyed that. Great tough track & obviously the complete opposite of Daytona. Maybe that's why out of the 28 drivers that started the race, 20 were in Elan's or Alpines, it was possibly the single twistiest track I think I've ever done . I know that personally I tried 17 different car models here (yes that's not a misprint) ranging from the IROC to the TR4. I really wanted to use something like the E-Type lightweight or the Volumetrico, but they just didn't float my boat here. The 3 cars I enjoyed the most were (in order) the Abarth, the Alpine, the Elan. I even managed 1:48's in the Abarth, but I ran round on my own at the back for the last race & wanted to be closer to the sharp end this time. Breaking my PB in qually by 1.5 secs was quite a pleasant surprise , seeing the driver on pole still over a second ahead of me & in the same car was a further surprise! Gutted for the people who have not been able to get on the server due to overcrowding, especially the people who got on but lost connecting & then couldn't rejoin . 28 is the limit, but I'll make sure our server guru is aware of the questions people have been raising here. I'll work out the tokens spent by everyone for this race & your remaining budgets, also grant our new comers an official budget (which as stated may be more or less then my initial guessed quota for them ).

Great fun throughout the race. After the initial mayhem ended up behind Blunder's Corvette, just couldn't find any way to get past in my Elan. With Tim closing in from the rear I had to try some desperate measures and spun my car, which dropped me right into another battle with a couple of Alpines and the roles were reversed. Full tank of fuel was more than enough and the tyres felt good all the way to the end so I decided to just do a quick stop near the end. Didn't realize I could just have changed my front tyres, that could have saved me a dozen seconds and I might have still had a shot for 7th. Nevertheless very pleased with the race. I do like the new token system, exiting to be in the better part of the grid for a change.

As 28 started the race, I guess that when I left & tried to rejoin with about 90s of qually left, someone was waiting in the lobby for just such an occurance to happen.

Possibly having lost their own space before yourself mate. I know that my connection dropped out in practice & I think Tony's did at the same time, we got back in then as numbers 27 & 28 . Having put the practice time in, I'd have been too had it all been a waste.

Yes Legzy, I saw you and Tony drop out simultaneously right in front of me. I seemed to go just as prac turned over to Quali, but managed to get back in about 6 or 7 minutes into the session.
I've been thinking of possible solutions to this problem and would like to put one forward.
How about we run 2 races one after the other on PnG evenings and split the field by some kind of ranking system. Maybe a division 1 and division 2. This way the current tokens system could remain and there would still be close racing. At the end of each season there could be promotion/relegation between the 2 divisions which I think would be good for competion. There would still be room for new drivers to join in either division depending on their level. Speaking as someone who is firmly division 2 material, I think it would add further spice to an already great series.
Just a suggestion.

that online limiting numbers is a real bugger...curse you simbin ! (shakes fist ) such a shame we cant have upto 40 cars at some of the great tracks that could easily handle it...sebring, Le Mans etc. :'( Car choices aside, it was a good race last night, another corker of a track that suits P&G well. I just would rather have been door to door with a variety of classic gt cars each with their own strengths and weaknesses than 'attack of the nimble clones' that were completely mismatched to my own (and the few that braved it)car choices. Ironically the alpine is actually one of my favourite classic rally cars, its a beauty, but never gonna take it knowing there were about 20 other of the buggers on track !

I like the two divisions idea. It would be good to race against others of the same high calibre as myself. And we could have a promotion and relegation zones too.

Promotions and relegations idea it's really not bad, if the result is splitting the drivers in 2 servers, that should be good for everybody that want to join your races, and have not a race on who join first the server... By my side, if races will remain only in 1 server I won't allow any other mine teammate to join in your races... VDA drivers are just enough but P&G is a really great mod and the attendance of your races demonstrates that:) I could ask to my boss if we can use our VDA server too for your races... but I can't assure nothing about that... Let me know if I have to make this attempt

I had some trouble with lapping cars. No one's fault, but I would slow to let them through in the twisties (they were invariably Elans or Renault) only to be held up on the following straights, they eventually pulled out a lead so I could get on with racing the guy in front/behind who were now more of a threat than before. I could have retaken lapping cars several times, but didn't, was not a real issue, just an irritation. I don't believe I held any up for more than a couple of turns

Just a point re: 2 divisions, if we try and run two divisions on a single server on one night, we run into the problem that some drivers can't drive early and others can't drive late. I certainly can't race on a regular basis after 2200 hrs UK time - our bedroom is adjacent to my computer.

Drivers who overspent their seasons Token Allocation. The following drivers have now had points deducted for overspending their Token budgets: - (VDA) MinholoS — advice — Tokens Debt = 2 Tokens — 10.0 championship points
- Truetom — advice — Tokens Debt = 4 Tokens — 20.0 championship points
Note - Each overspending driver has been docked points at their final race attended of the series.
