I still haven't touched the tarmac with this yet. Hoping this weekend I'll be able to try out the GT legends mod.

Thanks Dan. I'm fairly familiar with the first but I'll get the 2nd as soon as.............

I've also downloaded some appropriate testing "material" from nogrip which should keep me busy for a few evenings. Just got to read about this FFB thing.

These are the mods that I would advise you take a look at:

1970 World Sports cars by CSGT
Touring car Legends
NAGT

Have to say the 1970 WSC mod is fantastic if you are into historic oldies.

One mod that is missing is the old Can-Am racing.  There is one on Nogrip but graphics are poor.  I am aware that there is a much better one in the USofA that is used for league racing (next season they are covering the INTERSERIE REVIVAL cars) but it does not appear to have been released for general use, great shame as it looks great.

TCL and NAGT are too similar to GTR2 to be worthwhile.

I'm more keen on the single seaters, or sports prototypes, as they fill a niche we don't currently cater for.

I agree. I really don't think there is any point in looking at GT cars or Legends cars for rFactor. We already fill that genre with GTR2 and GT Legends and Power & Glory, so we there needs to be something different from those.

Last I heard, they were scheduled for the next build (end of October, beginning of November).

True, NAGT is alike, but TCL is very very different to GTL/PNG/GTR2. Cars are slower and closer, and better collisiondetection in rF will make closer door to door racing possible.

Uhmmm, no I think Grin. Collisions are better detected so it's safer to drive close together Smiley
