Hi!

My name is Stoyan Barbukov and I'm new to GPL. I'm interested in joining the 1965 championship of Season 35. I drove a few of the cars already and I'd like to use the BT11, if possible.

Please let me know if I have to register anywhere. Thanks!
Hi Stoyan

Welcome to UKGPL!

To enter the 65F1 championship submit a vote using the button at the top of this thread.

Since you are new to GPL I suspect you will need some time to check your installation works and that you can join our servers. I'll set mine up (UKGPL_4) with a 65 race so you can do some testing.

Please try to read through our rules on the UKGPL web site. Have a read of the Recommended Driver Behaviour and etiquette pages in particular. You should find the pages on side-by-side contact and the use of mirrors useful.

Good luck in your first race  thumbup1

Regards

Phil

Hello Stoyan.
Welcome to UKGPL. You have been registered to join the 1965 championship. The next race will take place at Solitude on Tuesday. I will be posting the race soon & you should be able to see the password at the top of the race announcement.
There is a free choice of car for this series.

Hello everyone

I wanted to apologize to you for pretending to be "Josefine" here. I see that I built a mistake. I've already talked to Cookie.
I built crap in the "Geli" league at the time and then tried to get back into GPL in this way, and it was wrong to do it this way.

Now I would like to apologise to everyone and hope for a new chance with a new beginning.

Thank you
Do I have to go back to the junior drivers or to the senior drivers again at the 67?
I voted at Senior.

Hi

After a long, long layoff from sim racing and GPL, I've dug out my trusty G27 and installed GPL  Smiley

Working on getting back up to speed (well, as fast as I'm ever going to go anyway which isn't quick  Grin ) and hopefully joining some races once I'm not a mobile roadblock  Grin

Cheers, Ian

Hi Ian,

Welcome back to where the fun is as addictive as it ever was. Do not worry about being "back up to speed", there are drivers of all levels still enjoying GPL ( some names you might recognise? ).

Besides the regular season races, which you will find on the forum, we are running various fun and entertaining races to occupy members during the current lockdown. Tonight there is a handicap race at Monza ( the original Papyrus track ), which in theory at least, will generate close total race times across the board.....we will see  Wink

I suspect that quite a few technical things have changed since you last turned wheels in anger at UKGPL. Most obvious is the 60 fps patch that moved GPL into the better graphics dept, but there are likely to be one or two other tekky  questions and pitfalls in getting everything working smoothly. Do not despair, simply post any issues here and someone far more intelligent than myself will guide you through it ( My reputation for handling modern technology is almost legendary, I just wish my racing was as well known!  Undecided ).

Most importantly, have fun and enjoy the racing  Wink

That's fantastic and thanks for the welcome Smiley

I "think" I've got most things up and running but will definitely shout if I run into any problems
