I've turned a few laps in the IROC but may use the RSR. Will do some more testing tomorrow to figure out if it's much faster. I know the layout well from iRacing, apart from the noddy chicane. At some point in the race I fully expect to forget about it.

2:09 (projected) in the IROC, 2:04.8 best so far in the RSR. Guess which I'll be taking.

Victory! I was able to join UK PnG server hosting practice for The Glen server this morning...06:15 my time here in Canada...with no probs. Very relieved...I'll have to mop that up...to find I had no issues. Ran off a couple of laps in the 'vette. 2:11 as best. It's not that I'll be making this race...time zone difference being the killer...but at least I know now that I can access the server. This is a big plus is getting ready for the Xmas LeMans event. Don't you just love that chicane? Doni

Don't you just love that chicane? I'm starting to find a consistent and quick line through there.

HI all, Would it be ok for me to join in the remainder of these races? I've been practicing a bit of PnG and loving it. Its giving me that nostalgic GPL feeling. All that cars have a nice feel to them Hopefully see you on track! Bully.

Hopefully you've seen the 1st couple of posts in the thread... I suggest you pick a car or two that's values at about '16 tokens' & let us know what times you're doing. When you've done that I'll give you a "potential tokens budget" & suggest if you want a slower or faster car

2:08 in the 906-6 after about 4 laps, so I'm sure plenty more to come. I don't get why people are having a prob with the chicane, I go whizzing through it every time, I can't see I'm doing anything special. Please tell me more?

i tried the RSR out last night, the chicane is a beeyatch in that car. I must have had 1 in 3 laps ruined by it I tried several different lines and speed entries but still seemed random as to whether it either flicked the car over or threw you into the armco. I'll need to try different front damper/spring combos to combat it i think. 2:08's mainly so far with more to come as only did about 12 laps. I'm fastest in the 906-8 by far. edit, a bit more tweaking and i was down to 2:05.4 in the RSR after just a handful of laps this eve and would have been quicker still if had time for more.

Managed to get in quite a few laps in the 906-6 again tonight & hit a 2:03.0 Want to see some more peoples laptimes, as I've no interest in being up the front on my own & will take a lesser car if I'm too fast (though I am very much enjoying my 1st experience of the PnG 906 )

HI Legzy, I have a couple of times for you.
Porsche 911 IROC - 2.11.5 (with some more practice, I might be able to touch 2.09's)
Porsche 906/6 - 2.07.5 (again, probably could get 2.05's with more practice)
I tried to get a semi-decent time with the GT40 Mk1 but I cant keep that thing on the road! Feels like your driving on ice!
Cheers, Bully.

I'm anticipating peoples laptimes to be about 2:04-05 here But keep an eye on the times people are posting for the cars they think they will race in. I might stick with the 906-6 myself & just load up a full fuel tank & stick some hard tyres on... it felt very good to me here
