Moderator's Report

Server replay time: 2550s

Gazza has been in a long, long battle with Simon and sadly tags his rear in turn 10 spinning him around to end it.

It wasn't an attempt at a pass and Gazza was being patient behind Simon but, with hindsight, his nose shouldn't have been poking in anywhere near there. It looks like a momentary slip up, Gazza waited and has duly apologised so penalty reduced.

Server replay time: 4700s

TT is catching Jose at a fair rate of knots as it appears his tyres are going off. TT joins Jose around turn 8 and unfortunately Joses slower pace around turn 10 catches TT out, there is slight contact but enough to send Jose spinning off the track.

Perhaps TT could have taken more care as it was reasonable to presume Jose was slowing for a reason however TT has apologised, reported himself and later waited for Jose, losing another place to Legzy in the process. Jose has accepted that apology.

Hi Adam, there'll be space more likely than not. yes The GT3s have been a bit sparse as of late so if you choose that class you should have a good shot at top 5. laugh

So GT2+GTC for next season? Wink

Am I the only one liking Zhuhai? It's easy to learn, bit too much straights between corners (making it better for GT1), lots of slipstream opportunities though Smiley
On the other hand its too flat and boring, but it's good fun nailing corners like this for good exit speeds.

I'm another fan of this track. But I would say that as I had one of my best ever results with a 4th in GT1 last time we were here.

Zhuhais another yawn fest of a track imo...which should mean i have another cracking race like Anderstorp  Grin

but there is not much to get excited about this place, flat as a billboard, point and squirt. Sad ...and we use Mosport as a non-champ filler race  Roll Eyes
Its saving grace is plenty of overtaking opportunities in the braking zones and corner exits. Smiley

I guess the records are going to be broken, low-mid 1:33 as pole?

Surrender all your setup settings please.  Roll Eyes

Wing on what, 6-7?

Race pace mid 35s?

This track is just a chinese copy of A1 Ring. Boring in principle, but fun to blast around.  Grin

i'm gonna start with a complaint  Angry  if we are going to use variable weather (which i am a fan of) can we at least make sure it flipping rains when it says its going to rain for the next 3 days on the weather forecast! I wasted 2 hours today practising for a wet race here and compromised my enduro setup for it, only to have a completely dry race  Roll Eyes..and i dont normally get that sort of spare time....grrr.

Rant over  Wink

First half hour of race was fantastic in a brilliant duel for 9th with L Galluzzi? in a shark Modena. I was all over him in most of the braking zones but he kept leaving me for dead on the straights and we had a great duel with Spanner keeping a steady pace a few secs behind. But then guttingly, Galluzzi disco'd right in front of me.  Sad What a shame as that looked like a race long battle on the cards. I lost a bit of concentration after that let down and spanner closed up. But then he pitted really early and i was left on my own with a 9 sec gap to Jimmie in 8th ahead. I took off a couple of secs but i got a bit bored on my own and took too much kerb in that fast left hander and got spat into the armco. Splitter gone and front damage...got called in by pits half hour earlier than planned stop. Bugger  :'(
Threw a load of fuel in to get me to end of race and got repaired, losing 69 seconds and dropped to back of field from 9th :'(
It was a lonely race from then on with only GTCs for company and finally finished 11th. One more lap and would have been 10th as Jimmie ran out of fuel in front of me and i think even TT did too ? but JM was too fast as usual and finished a lap ahead !
Well done Jon  Smiley Great drive by Legzy as well from back of the grid to finish in top 10  Cool
