If you find GPL suddenly won't work here's a top tip from an idiot.
Before you spend two hours trying everything under the sun to fix it try rebooting the PC first  whistling

You were not alone  Mike..... that incident decimated the field.. only 7 finishers  Undecided I was one of the first cars through that mess and thought that it was all over after clouting 2 spinning cars, but the Chapman MK43 BRM powered barge just got a few dents and carried on  Roll Eyes

Couldn't get a tow in the second practce so ended up 15th on the grid, having been 5th in the first qually.

Got a good start and made a couple of places, but I shouldn't have bothered !! Banking 2 on Lap 1 saw a huge crash just in front of me, and I got caught by some bouncing cars, Game Over Sad

Yes so did I Mike.  Very disappointing for me.  I had made a good start picking up a couple of places and with the tow I was staying in touch.  But when there were cars all over the banking, like you I had nowhere to go Sad

Results imported (and corrected because Paul, the winner, was dropped from the server).

Congrats to GPLRacer winners by 61 points to 55.  Quite close in the end.

Thanks to Stefan for the server.

thanks for late opportunity to join the team from Phil as I was passing through IGOR
thanks for setup from Jethro
apologies for appalling times and not finishing

had horrendous time with setup
when i joined online server, i could only see my 65 setup folder? so could not see Jethro's setup
exited and re-entered, still the same
exited, tried offline, OK could see 66 setups
so manually wrote down the setup from Jethro, went back online and recreated the setup manually
now only 5 minutes left of practice, got out on track and gearing was all wrong, was at max revs in 6th halfway down the straight
back to pits, checked setup and now differant to what i had entered, quick guess at a change, back out on track, and only just a bit better gearing but now qually is over. I'm slowest  Sad

Run the race and the gearing is still wrong, plus the general setup is all wrong too. I was having to backoff max revs in top on the straights as it was overheating the engine

it's as if i was driving a 66 car with a 65 setup and everything was wrong

Any suggestions about how to fix seeing right setup folder in 66 mod when online.
why do i show as Peter Maestro57-65 in results instead of 66?

Do you have separate gpl installs for 66 and 65?  If so which one is iGOR aimed at?

Also, did you select the correctc player profile in iGOR as you joined the server?

I guess you show as your 65 profile because that is what you were using.

Grats to GPL Racer for their victory.
Although, I thought we just about had it on points as we entered the last few laps.
Of course I did not realise that Paul had switched on his Klingon Cloaking device and was travelling unseen at the head of the field. It does at least explain something that was troubling me for a great deal of the race. Tim and I were working the teammates slipstream tango quite well for many laps after he caught me.
I expected our co-operation to at least keep us in touch with Paul and Julian up front, and when Paul vanished from Prib I fully expected the gap to close as Julian had no slipstream buddy...but he continued to pull away!! To say I was impressed is an understatement!!  but now I know why  lol Undecided

A few laps from the end Tim and I were still circulating at good pace, in what I thought was 2nd and 3rd spots, but as we approached Lesmo 1 in line astern Tim's car suddenly decided to perform the Mexican Hat Dance under braking. I pulled hard to the outside to avoid a possible warp contact that would have taken us both out. The armco beckoned , but I resisted that temptation and almost held the pendulum effect under control as it snatched back in the other direction, but still managed a half spin. This left Tim some 11 secs away down the road with about 8 laps to go and a huge gap back to the next car.

So I tootled home in what I thought was 3rd place, but turned out to be a lonely 4th.

How come RACER had two Ferraris?

Grin Do we get to chose which one counts?

Let me see, this could be tricky.   Roll Eyes

Well, that was not a good one. I never managed to get any substantial tow during quali so I was stuck with unaided laptime. Lap 1 and I made a crazy slalom throu three or four spinning cars; how I survived is beyond me.

Then I made a mistake in Parabolica, rejoined after almost everyone passed me and 10 laps later, made a mess of it on the banking, did a Sarti and landed on a road which I believe is the one to the right from Curva Grande. Amazingly, the car seemed to have survived but I was probably an entire lap down, that is, if I didn't get disqualified for driving backwards in order to rejoin.

Sometimes I wonder why I bother, I don't get to finish any race any more...

Grats to GPL Racer and our guys who carried the flag to the very end.

I think the 2nd GPLRacer Ferrari should have taken the Brabham instead.

It was a short race for me (only 2 laps).
Julien and Barry Kooistra66 "touched" each other at the end of T1. I saw it coming, but I had no chance to react.
It could have become a nice race.
