Moderator's Report

Server replay time: 353s

Coming into Esse corner (T8) one the first lap Rob is following Goldtop closely. Goldtop locks up slightly on entry and misses the apex slightly but carries round until Rob hits his RH rear corner, spinning him round.
In the braking zone Rob does have to check-up a bit and lock up slightly so he should have realised Goldtop wasnt going as quickly as he was, but then appears to drive into him. This is the first lap and Rob should have known to be more cautious when following someone that closely on relatively cold tyres/ brakes at the start of the race.

After Estoril i would like some clarification on the weather. The forecast at the top of page one - at what point is the race weather taken from it and is the weather then fixed within a certain set of parameters or is it totally random. At Estoril i took hard tyres expecting a hot race and the temps tumbled until it less than 20 degrees, making my hard tyres totally useless!

The initial weather is seeded and clearly visible if you click the generate weather link. What happens after is, my understanding but Dave wrote it, random. If you download the weather file and look at it you can see what might happen. However the game also does its own 'weather smoothing' so you may find conditions change when you don't expect them to as the track dries or gets wetter.

Last time I checked, 3 hours ago, it looked like the race would start mildly damp, get a bit wetter before drying out. However this is no indication of what might happen tonight.

First decission is usually the right one - should have stayed away from Gallardo after I tried it and decided it's not for me. Undecided  A very quick car, but I'm not stable in it. After the third spin and second contact I decided to leave before I make more damage. Sad

Umm... sorry H@L, glad you made it through the wreckage Shocked

Was enjoying it with the close racing all through the first half, dont think i was more than a few secs away from people. Spent most of the time on iracing today so it took a while in practise to get back into it. Really got to sort out that FFB! Coming back to GTR2 i couldnt believe how hard the wheel was!
