Moderator's Report

Server replay time: 86s

Matt goes to the inside into Mirabeu Haute entry, on Lap 1, to defend against the fast gaining Tudor. That partly explains why he brakes too late, on that unusual line, and clatters the rear end of Simon which had a knock on effect for the others. Luckily most got away lightly and all were able to continue but places/track position were lost.

Matt has owned up to his mistake and waited till the rest of the field passed through as a self imposed penalty (cost him about 15 seconds). The penalty is therefore reduced.

Not my night, lost connection with the host three times in qual, mysterious. Just changed the data rate to ISDN, while I have had it in CABLE/DSL which I have here. Then rebooted everything including the ADSL box. Got in when the qual was over, didn´t see anyone at the grid, ESCd out to not cause any more harm to anyone. Very annoying.

Hope you have a great race. Don´t know if I will attend to the remaining races unless I can figure out what happened.

Sorry to hear about the problems above. Hope it's sorted for next time.

Just couldn't get anywhere near the pace for this one. I don't know why but I just hate the 1275 Mini. It's nothing like the 1310 in handling and was a total nightmare to drive round Monaco. Had it not been for the close racing with Tibs, Matt, API and Alex I'd have quit out after a few laps.

Hope others had a better time of it.

Great fight with Tibernius but a bit mmmpphhhfff  about the many mistakes I made.
I know I drove like Enrique Bernoldi so early braking was not intended.

Apologies to Mr_Oily for my turning move after chicane. Did not see you (no excuse).. always a bit of fun with the amateur at the back of the grid, he  Wink
I guess you are our new Ruskus now. When do you start with your flying lessons?

If I recall correctly the ISDN setting is the way to go...even if you have adsl/cable.

Apart from the altercation just before the hairpin on the 1st lap (My fault I believe)  Embarrassed had a good time chasing round
at the back of the pack following Goldie/API/Tibs/Alex eventually after lots of slightly bumpy but clean door to door stuff
all had incidents and I got in front, had no chance of catching Phil, but was just trying to stay ahead of API
who seemed the quickest of the chasing pack, then on the way up the hill the PC froze, screen went black
I turned the wheel lifted off the throttle and hoped, after many seconds it recovered and I was sliding along the walls
with API just in front!  :'(  caught him up more or less, and he had a whoopsie somewhere and I nipped past back
into 8th with Phil 7th. Grats to Oily and pods, good to see Simon recovered and placed well.

Hahaha, there's always one. Oh, and it's always Legzy. When you're ready...be a good Oldie and pop those results back the way they should be Wink

Wooohooo green ones, we did it - for the first time Team Prodigy wrap up the drivers and team GTL championship. Seems like a looooong time ago we had that almighty battle at Lakeside to kick the season off. I think this grin could last a little while....amazing team effort chaps.

My first time racing at Monaco on SROU which seems crazy but other commitments meant I've always missed it in the past. Absolutely love it around here and I was hopeful for a good result if I could just keep up the concentration. Had a moment of panic off the grid where Jim seriously dusted me off the line but thankfully he overcooked it a fraction into T1 and that just about gave me the run up the hill.

I got very lucky with backmarkers in that I didn't see any (aside from Alex who added a little spice to my final lap Wink) and so it was basically a case of learning from Melbourne, completely ignoring the mirror and gap times and focusing only on my own pace....honestly didn't believe I'd cross that line in one piece, I was sure one of those awkwardly shaped barriers was going to just catch me out but praise the GTL gods, I made it!!

Hard luck Jim and Ade, been a brilliant little battle we've had going, I've just loved being in the mix with you boys fighting for the prize - really has been fun trying to deal with the pressure over the course of the season (of a computer game  blink) and that's mainly down to you guys.

Gutting to see Dyno wasn't able to start and a nightmare for Spanner after a good opener but well done PR for a strong result and grats Simon/ Jim on the podium spots.

It's not over yet obviously, Mugello next and I think the Plymouth is a calling  turned

When do you start with your flying lessons?

Shouldn't be long now, a 747's the natural progression for anyone who can master five gears  Grin This is your Captain speaking....yes it's got a nice ring to it hahaha.  Cool

P.s - what happened Dan, you were on the pace within about three laps weren't ya!?

Congratulations Mr_oily, a well deserved championship win. Last four races were brilliant. Well done!

Never been able to get a decent setup (I almost went for the Mini, but last minute choice was Corolla)
A qualy hot lap had put me in a good starting position and even been in 3rd for a while, well...before
I messed up at the corner before the tunel and spun (sorry guys).  Roll Eyes
7th place now  Grin with some luck I finished 5th, but not without 2 more mistakes (those ones that
we touch with the last 2 milimitres of the rear end on the wall and spin....  laugh
Sorry for being a noob and lost the fight Legzy, I believe it would be a nice one.  Smiley

Congrats on the brilliant pace Oily and to the podium.

Cheers

No I have not tested it since last night. Could it be that I changed the data rate from CABLE/DSL to ISDN? Are you all using ISDN as a data rate setting? The problems started when I tried to correct my pc from jamming every time someone joined the server. Then it went wild and I had three connection losses after two thirds of the track.

I'm using ISDN, mainly because it's in the SRou's 'Technical Regulation'  angel
