& you've picked a night where we already have a SROUK PnG event. I thought iRacing wasn't going to be conflicting Huh

Championship races won't. I wasn't intending to race any more P&G this season in any case, hopefully those who are committed to that championship won't bother with this fun race.

This is intended to be the main test / fun race before the season starts so it would be great to get a big field.

There is so much racing in Srou that it is virtually impossible not to conflict. I am going to have to decide between GPL 66's or iRacing when the Championship gets underway proper next week.

I wasn't trying to compete with PnG Legzy... I tried to run this event on Saturday but there was limited interest due to Halloween and it being Saturday...

I said on the other thread that I knew there was a PnG race scheduled and suggested that those involved prioritised PnG over this. However, I don't think there's more than a few drivers who are affected.

1:23.5 after 3 laps with my old setup. Car feels slightly different but not massively, and still has a lot of lift throttle oversteer.

I'll be making this one for sure.

Just run a couple of laps and pretty happy with the feel of the car, just got to try and find a few tenths .... if I start hitting those a-p-e-x jobbies that might be a good start Cheesy.

After the fun race at Lime Rock, I'm really looking forward to a 40 min race with you guys .... although with the oversteer this car generates is could be bloody knackering!!

I should be there.

Correction, just been given a Dad's taxi job for Tuesday night. Pickup in Newcastle at 8.00pm, so not much chance of making the start. I could try joining the server before I leave so I'm ready to just go for it when I get back, but I definitely wont manage any qually. Looks like this could be a weekly thing (dance class!!) so I might well be continueing my GPL 66 season after all.

Would you be willing to share that setup Dave? Or anbody else out there got one? I am trying Huttu's and Luke Mcleans but they seem to make it more oversteery then ever, or it may be I've just forgotten what the Skip is like to drive?

Just fired mine over to you Ken.

Feel free to join the server and see if you make it back in time. We won't hit the pit-stall limit and as it's a fun race I guess it doesn't matter too much if you qualify.

Could you fire it off to me as well pops, ta Smiley Really struggling with the lift-off oversteer around here, any secret to it? Bit of throttle isn't helping me much.

Sure, your email address is hidden though. PM me Smiley

Get most of your braking done in a straight line, you can't trail brake these things, a bit MORE throttle all the way through the turn might help too.

Can't be that hard, I can get round Wink

The website below has some replays and track guides for the Skip Barber which I found useful.

http://www.fast-apex.com/videos.html

I'm not sure how good the setups are now after the latest updates.

Can we have an updated drivers list please?

I'm lost between user names and iRacing names.
