Car: Skip Barber Track: Summit Point Raceway
Praccy starts at 19:00 for 75 mins (I'll possibly start praccy a bit earlier and let it run for longer) Qualifying - 20:15 (15 mins) Race - 20:30 (28 laps, approx 40 mins)
Standing start EDIT: 1 Unlimited 'fast tows' (resets) available for each driver (available by pressing SHIFT+R by default)
EDIT: All sessions protected by the main password, there is no seperate 'pre-event practice'

This is intended to be the main test / fun race before the season starts so it would be great to get a big field.
There's a maximum field size of 28 at this track, it's very unlikely we'll get anywhere near but just in case I thought I'd let you know.
What's a good time round here I hear you ask? Well, if you can go sub 1:22 you are kicking major ass. 1:22's are pretty quick and 1:23's are a better target for the speed-challenged (like me, my PB is 1:23.3). According to iRacing stats, Greger Huutu has done a 1:21.1 so there's something to aim for eh? Our very own Brian Kerr has cracked in a 1:21.3 so he's The Daddy at this point.

I re-subbed today for 3-months so will try and be there.
1.22.9 ATM so a little way to go before I get near my PB.
Actually, seeing as it's been a while since I last ran the Skippy at Summit, are there any build changes that would render my old setups useless?

So, how do we find a server when it's up? Rear is a bit light, nothing 1 click of wing couldn't fix, but what do you change in the setup?

So, how do we find a server when it's up? On the members page there's a link that says 'Hosted', click on that. It's on the dark gray navigation bar just below the are where the results scroll. This is the direct link - http://members.iracing.com/membersite/member/HostedSessions.doRear is a bit light, nothing 1 click of wing couldn't fix, but what do you change in the setup? You've been spoiled in your fancy GT cars The Skip does tend to a bit of oversteer, you need to control it with your right foot, always keeping a bit of throttle on through the turn.

Lol, never before tended tyre pressure as a damper. Works, though. 1:23:4 so far.

Pretty good TT! My best is 1:23.6 so far.
Apparently the Skip has slowed down a bit due to the physics changes since those times in the first post were set so take them with a pich of salt.

& you've picked a night where we already have a SROUK PnG event. I thought iRacing wasn't going to be conflicting
