I may be stupid Lips Sealed but I think the best way to do it, is to install again & then copy your old files over Undecided

That is the way I do it Legzy. Install, then copy P&G root from old drive to new. Install is required to get registry entries in order.

Like to know how you get on - I chickened out after having GTL problems and reading that there seemed to be similar problems installing GTR 2 onto Windows 7.  I'm happy with XP performance and I had to do a completely new installation after experiencing problems racing.

Bill

Ps I realise you're in a different position with your dickey drive

OK, I have heard ( and read) a few things about PnG which have caused some response in and around the single brain cell that passes for intelligent life in my head. Roll Eyes

As a hardened ( or is that fully softened??) GPL addict, the thought of wrestling a GT around some tarmac for a change might be fun. Grin

So.....
a) what do I need?
b) where do i find it?

Some of you will know of my legendary reputation for screwing up things computer orientated, so don't expect to see any instant appearances. Undecided

(I have a GT legends disc , if that helps?)

Firstly have you got GTR2? you only need to pop your GTL disk in when loading P&G to confirm you own GTL.
P&G downloads are here http://gtlw-blog.flyingpig.info/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=98&Itemid=113
Grab the 3 parts of V2.0 first and stick them in a folder and install from there it will ask for the location of your  GTR2 installation you want to use for P&G, then download V2.1 and install that.
Before you start go into your new  P&G main folder and apply the terrain patch and force feedback patch, should be good to go.

Its easier than i make it sound Grin  Any problems give us a shout
                                                          Cheers Ade

Edit.. Dont forget the GTR2 lobby fix down at the bottom of the news archive on the right http://www.simbin.se/
