Car: Skip Barber Formula 2000
Track: Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca

Practice: 18:00 for 135 mins (approx)
Qualifying: 20:15 (15 mins)
Race: 20:30 (24 laps, approx 40 mins)

Start: standing
1 'fast tow' (reset) available for each driver (available by pressing SHIFT+R by default)

NOTE: All sessions protected by the main password, there is no seperate 'pre-event practice'

A couple of notes re. Blue Flags during qualifying and race where they differ from GTR2;

Blue Flags during qualifying - if you see a blue flag during qualifying it will be on your outlap and the driver approaching is on a hotlap. Please take this into account and act accordingly. The driver behind does not know you are on an outlap so no rash moves out of the way please Smiley Usual SRouk rules / guidelines should be applied.

Blue Flags during the race -  if you see a blue flag during the race it means the driver approaching is about to lap you. Please take this into account and act accordingly. It differs from GTR2 in that you will not be penalised for not allowing the lapping driver to pass within a certain period. The flag is informational only. Usual SRouk rules / guidelines should be applied.

Pit Boxes - there are 43 slots available at Laguna Seca.

My helpful timing guideline for this event is that if you're doing sub 1:40's then you are pretty quick!

Paul968 seems to be the quickest SRouk driver with a qually time of 1:39.2 and fastest race lap of 1:39.3

My fastest lap in a race is 1:41.5 if that helps the duffers (you know who you are!) benchmark themselves Grin

Never driven the skip before but have done a handfull of laps and got down to consistent low 41's   , Is there any way of dialling out the lift off oversteer or is just a case of not fully lifting ??  Not that im too bothered about it as it is really satisfying when you get it right.

Great car/track combo.  Wink

The Skip always has oversteer on entry.

Most guys always have the brake and trottle applied on entry to corner.

I right foot brake, so I brake then before entry to the bend give the throttle a little jab and this puts the car back on it's forward foot.

I'm still feeling rubbish, but I'd certainly like to try to join for a bit if a session happens.

We can have 4 hours, so if I started at 6.30 it would take us to 10.30 - can't see too many wanting to drive after that, but pipe up if you do.
