Spec Race - Mosport - 20 Dec

2 races around the Mosport circuit. This spec challenge in Cooper v Honda. Start with whichever you like but chose the other chassis for the second race.
This race will be about 12 laps but limit the quallifying to 20 minutes per session.
This is a "fun race" - resets allowed and no Stop & Go penalty. No moderation so please drive responsibly.

Thanks for posting this. As this is now on the official race thread it may be a little easier to find.

To clarify - this will be the third in the Sunday Drivers Spec series. Mosport was rotated off the season 18 schedule and is a chance to compete at ehat, for some, is a favourite circuit. (I reaD your post Norm H)

It is a 65 Mod event.

The Interleague chaps are racing at 9pm & to avoid clogging up the chatroom the Sunday Drivers should assemble for a 9.15 start - UKGPL chatroom in IGOR. We had a fairly full grid for the last outing at Silverstone so look forward to seeing a few of you.

This is a 'spec challegne' between the Cooper & Honda. Everyone who completes at least half distance in both races will have their fastest race lap time entered into the spec challenge. I'll publish the individual race results and outcoem of the spec challenge here.

Results from tonights Spec Races as below.

Slight surprise in the spec challenge with the Cooper beating the Honda by a 10th of a second or so. (Taking fastest lap results from 6 drivers who completed more than half distance in both races). For me the Honda was faster in quallification but didn't manage to hook up a decent race lap. Of the drivers - pick of the bunch was Bartosz with fastest laps in both cars & a win in Race 2. Also solid drives from Norm Hannce & Steve Bird.

Next up on 3rd January its Watkins Glen in the Ferrari (& a first Sunday Drivers appearance for my favourite) the BT11. Guess most of us will be heading back to work on 4th Jan so this should make the end of the holidays a little easier to bear.
