lol I'll race this rather than the Skippy. The Skippy needs hours of practice every week to really get into it, and I just don't have that. The Dallara I can jump into and drive, it just needs an hours warmup before a race and I'm good. I haven't tried the Lotus 79 yet, but I would say that either the Dallara, Lotus or Mazda would be good cars for Season 2.

Why doesn't it show the picture directly? The site your linking to probably has hotlink protection to stop leaching like this.

Hi all, grats on the 1-2-3 could of been 4 maybe
I somehow avoided the T1 carnage, got up to 3rd, then I think Simon went off at last corner, and i got into 2nd keeping with Dave, Simon just behind only to lose it in a few laps at turn 1 in a massive spin and collecting someone other way, where I had to do a reset, but somehow the rested last so long I was 2 laps down...

So, is this gonna be the car for S2? Sorry to be pushy, but can't wait to buy it if it is Yes, this is 100% going to be used in S2. Unless iRacing surprise us and release a Gillet Vertigo of course...

Anyways, after promising first lap my car got damaged and I couldn't really push as hard as I could during my practice sessions. Knew the crew wouldn't repair during pitstop, I planned to push as hard as I could and see how it goes. Had a spin or two nonetheless. Pitted at half, adjusted fuel but the crew didn't change tyres! During driving I was pressing buttons and saw pit-strat for tyre change was unchecked. Didn't do any of this things before the race, so I guess there is still a large grey area for me to learn. While pondering this I missed my braking and a bit fed up pressed for fast tow - at least I'll get a brand new car to drive. Two minutes in the pits. This option is pointless. Was driving on then and I saw after at least 8 laps the thread on 2nd set of tyres was 100%. Even so, this is THE car.

Lol.... Only just sussed it all out myself. Basically if you use your function keys for say F4 fuel and it is ticked then it will add the amount of fuel you select with the arrow keys. Space bar to check/uncheck... Same for F5 ? is it? by default they are ticked so it changes all the tyres for you but you can adjust tyre presures again with arrow keys.. Repairs are a joke / realistic... you break it, chances are they can't fix it!

Oh, tyre wear, F7 only reports tyre wear at last pit stop!? is it? 100% is a new tyre etc. So it does not update while you are driving.. Think I'm right on all that!

A fast tow isn't pointless (IMHO). The idea is that it takes you around the track back to your pits to complete your lap. So, last night when I crashed at T1, I immediately got the fast-tow, which made me sit in the pits for just under 3 minutes. Given that Road America is a nearly 2 min track, I therefore still came out on the lead lap and only lost a minute and had a brand new car. Seems like a fair compromise to me. Think I'm right on all that! Yup, correct.
